Imo the album is overproduced and incredibly stale compared to everything else they’ve done. TMP is probably my favorite active emo band but they really need to cut down on the (what seems like) forced angst and predictable song structures. It’s like every box was ticked for a commercial pop-punk emo album that’s too shimmering and glossy for its own good. The lyrics are so vague and cliche too, this really is a weird one for them. Hope they bounce back from this next time around! TLDR: it’s an overproduced celebration.
