So far Our family likes it. The large bullets are smaller than we expected but they work great. Fast and convenient. Wasn't a bad price either.

It really is quiet, I love how fast I got ice for my water mugs. Now I can have ice any time I want it.

I cannot believe that something so small could make so much ice in 24 hours. We had a family event coming and there is always a shortage of ice. Someone always has to stop what they're doing to go to the store and buy more. So for two days prior, I used this machine to make ice for the ice chests, the beer tubs and ice that went into the mixed drinks. 26lbs of ice total. I was amazed. There was a moment when I did have to start making more because the cubes made are two different sizes but not like the ones you get in the bags. It did start to melt down a little faster than bagged ice would, but that was okay. No one had to go get more. I just simply put the amount of water required in the machine and in about an hour we were in business again. I was in love. This is the best thing to have if you are regularly having big family gatherings, if your a freelance bartender, or if your a caterer. I wish I would have thought to take a video of the machine working but I have had a lot going on with proms, birthday parties etc. Just take my word for it, this is a dream machine. Save some money in the long run and have a stock pile of ice that you will never have to buy again. It was so convenient, it washes up nicely but is a bit bulky to store.

Every once in a while, someone makes a countertop appliance that far surpasses my expectations.First, follow the instructions and do NOT use the ice maker the same day that it arrives. The refrigerant needs to settle back into the tank where it belongs. It may have been disturbed during shipping, especially if it wound up on it's side.Turn it on, fill it, and get ready for ice, a LOT of ice.What they did that is absolutely ingenious is that the ice goes into a basket which is above where you pour the water in. If the ice sits, and melts, the water goes right back into the tank and is used to make fresh ice.I set the ice maker to produce the large bullet shaped ice and it works fantastic.They also have all of the mechanical parts and fans in the back, away from the ice so the heat isn't immediately melting the fresh ice.This is a well-designed, well-engineered ice maker.It's small enough to leave on a counter, and small enough to fit right back on a shelf in the pantry.

Works as expected.Pleasantly surprised by texture of ice it makes. Ice texture: easy to crush.Context: I'm a nugget ice lover and was skeptical of the semi-cylindrical ice texture and "crushablility" or chewability.Ice making process:- simple installation. Get "cooking" straight from the box (after the recommended 24hr upright position)- makes ice fairly quickly.- one basket of ice is half the water content so one tank makes 2 baskets of ice--not enough for serving a small party or family of more than 3 people.

This works quite well but the area where ice dumps into is quite small so you need to be prepared to empty it into some other container and into your freezer a few times to utilize all the water placed in the machine. Also, the ice coming straight out of the machine isn’t super frozen so melts very fast. If you can plan ahead and give it some freezer time, then it would be good.So basically, if you can be around your kitchen for a few hours to oversee it, then it will be handy.

It works okay, but the compartment that holds ice is really small. I don’t like that. I’m going to keep it as a spare because it was a good price. I use a lot of ice, so I’m getting a bigger one. None of these ice makers last very long. I don’t care what brand it is. I haven’t had one last more year than a year and a half.
