The seller mentioned deformation at 140°F, but in the sun, in a hot climate, the interior can quickly get to that temperature and keep going. A lot of electronics protect themselves by not working above 168°F. I've seen it happen to my car's touchscreen on a 85-90° day on the SoCal coast around noon when parked in the sun. So what do you think is gonna happen to a black truck without sunshades at 128° in the blazing sun in Phoenix at noon on June 27? Note to vendor: It would be great if you tested this in a safe environment to 250°F so we all know if the product is stable or not.
