Frisco Craft Clear Vinyl Transfer Paper Tape Roll w/Alignment Grid Application Tape, Medium Tack Adhesive Vinyl for Decals, Signs, Windows, Stickers (12" x 50 Ft)

I have been searching & searching. About a year ago I bought a roll. And since I loved it so much, I used it sparingly but only had a few feet left. After a colossal order, I panicked since I wouldn't have enough. I searched and searched and went by reviews. Decided to risk this one. Turns out it was THE SAME EXACT one I bought a year ago! SOOOO happy I found it again (bookmark, hello!) Tremendous value, works super well to pick up decal and lay down to transfer. Absolutely excellent on glossy Oracal 651. Have not determined if metallic does well but will experiment and update. I think reviews said no glitter, but I will test that anyway too.

I have edited my review because it appears as if they were just sending me the incorrect ones and claiming they were correct. The tape you should be recieving has the GREEN grid on the back, if you receive one with a RED grid, immediately return it, it is not what you want. The green is the medium tack and works excellent. I have used it on hundreds of stickers and haven't had one adhesion issue due to this transfer tape. When I was sent the red tape and used that, I was having to send customers a lot of replacemements because of the tape not releasing the sticker. The green grid medium tack tape is fantastic, best I have found and the only one I use in our store. The red grid premium tack is high tack, return it immediately if you receive this one!

I went out on a limb to try a new transfer paper and I am so glad that I did. The price is what first caught my attention. I was a little skeptical that it was offered at this price point AND it would work. When it arrived, I honestly expected to open it and be immediately disappointed just by looking at it. I was pleasantly surprised. The product did not look 'cheap' or 'fake.' I liked that it had a grid printed onto the backing because it helps me to waste less. Most of the time I use this for permanent vinyl. I have no complaints - it has just the right amount of tack. I would not use this on posterboard, foamboard or paper - it is too tacky for that. Also, it is not tacky enough for glitter vinyl. This is just right for plain vinyl transfer onto hard smooth surfaces. I was happy with my purchase and came back to buy another roll!

Fantastic, great and very easy to use for the decals

Just ordered this roll and it works great. Bit thicker feel like contact paper would be. It has grids on the back so thats nice for even cutting lines. There are no lines on the actual transfer itself though, it is clear. Cuts well and has a glossy look to it.

I'm so happy that I found this transfer tape/paper! I used to use another brand that did not have the paper backing nor the grid lines. I love that the grid lines are on the paper and not on the transfer tape inself. The grid lines help my cut the perfect size for whatever size decal I'm using it for. The brand I used to use would leave a sticky residue on the decals and that is not what I wanted my customers to experience. This transfer tape leaves no residue! I prefer the medium tack because it makes it possible to remove the transfer tape from the decal if I mess up and need to re-align the transfer tape. It takes a small amount of pressure to adhere completely to the decal so I don't press/squeegee until I know it's aligned how I want it. I would recommend this product and I will continue using it for decals.

I use it with Oracal 651 and I have no problems with it. As always, transfer tape is a bit of a compromise, you want it strong enough to remove the cut vinyl from its backing, but when you applied the stickers you want it weak enough not to take the vinyl with it once you peel it off. This tape works well in most situations, and it's great value compared to other brands. Also be aware that the while the backing has markings to cut it straight, the actual tape has no markings at all, it's perfectly clear. I like it a lot, as it allows you to see through and properly position the stickers, without being distracted by the markings.

Not even remotely sticky! Worse that standard grip tape from Michaels. Total was of time.

It worked as well as the others out there

This transfer tape is AMAZING! I use it for my vehicle decals, the tape is beautifully clear and works perfectly! There is no grid on the tape itself, but I love that the backing paper has a grid! If you are looking for completely clear transfer tape, I highly recommend this tape! :)

I have tried SOOOO MANY clear (no gridlines) transfer tapes and this one is by far superior and will be my go-to for any projects where I don’t want the lines on the transfer tape!

I have tried this tape on multiple Oracle 651 matte and glossy vinyls as it was described to be comparable with and it is an absolute nightmare. The tack is so low that the vinyl will not lift from the backing sheet no matter how long you let it sit or how much pressure you apply to it. If you want to spend twice your project time just to get your vinyl to transfer, this is for you. Otherwise avoid this absolute garbage.
