Singing Rock Laika Dog Harness

Like some others, I have been very dismayed at the lack of products out there for our pets in case of a fire-evac situation. This harness received four-stars because it's the first one that actually seems to fit my need (god forbid I ever have to use it). The main body material is not overly sturdy. The straps are solid and seem to be securely fastened/stitched to the body. The one HUGE concern that you have as the pet owner (that the company tried to address with its design) is whereby the animal could fall out the back or the front of the harness if the lowering process was done less than perfectly. Their basic design combined with the closure systems seems to address one end but not the other, so I'm still experimenting. Another aspect I'm looking at is the straps at the top. Again, the straps seem very sturdy and have a 'loop' design at the top of each one. If you lift the animal up with each strap loop focused on one lift-point, the animal's body tends to bend painfully. There is a reinforced strip of material (metal?) going down each side (it's internal to the harness) which seems to help alleviate this problem to some degree. If you could figure out some way to run a thick, reinforced pole through the loops, thus keeping the loops spaced out, problem solved. Best option I've found so far. Good luck.

Great product, unfortunately there’s only one size and it’s too big for my dog.

I bought this in case of an emergency and my dog (55lbs) and I have to get out the back bedroom window 2 stories up. I bought a climbing rope and carabiners to go along with it for lowering. Upon inspection it seems sturdy, strong, and well made. I hope I NEVER have to use it but it gives me piece of mind to have for my dog’s safety should we ever have an emergency.

materiale molto solido e adatto (nel mio caso) ad un cade di taglia medio - grande. funzionale e il prezzo mi sembra abbastanza adeguato.unico difetto: l'imbragatura è un po' ingombrante (se ripiegata su se stessa rimane comunque un po' ingombrante) se riposta in uno zaino per il suo trasporto.

Ich verwende das Geschirr für meine 19 kg schwerer Bordercollie Hündin zum Paragleiten.Die Passform war grundsätzlich nicht schlecht, aber da es eine Einheitsgröße ist, musste ich es umnähen. Der Bereich um die Brust/Brustbein war deutlich zu weit und das Material lag nicht am Körper an.Die Verarbeitung ist super und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top!
