After about 8-10 games, I've gathered enough experience to share some insights.Let's start with the positives. For beginners like myself, this set is a solid introduction to the game. The paddles have a good weight to them, not too heavy or too light, making them easy to handle during play. Plus, the inclusion of the balls and bag in the set is super convenient, offering good value for someone just starting out.However, it's not all smooth sailing. The first hiccup I've noticed is the durability. The face of the paddles shows signs of wear quicker than expected, which is a bit disappointing. Durability is key, especially when you're getting into a new sport.Another point to consider is the paddle's sweet spot. It's fairly small, which I've found makes my shots a bit inconsistent. This could be a bit challenging for new players trying to get the hang of the game.To sum up, I'd rate this set between 3 and 4 stars. It's a decent choice for beginners due to its good value and appropriate weight, but the durability and small sweet spot are drawbacks to consider. If you're just getting into pickleball and looking for an affordable way to start, this set could be a good option, but keep in mind that you might outgrow it as your skills improve.

I got these for the fair market value of $65.99 and that's what I'll base value on. For that price these aren't great, but they're not bad either. There are other sets for cheaper and let me say that all of the fiberglass/carbon fiber paddles on here, in the $12-$50 per paddle range, are the same. I have tried out multiple paddles and sets and can't tell the difference in construction, let alone feel while playing, from the majority of them. They all seem to rebrand and use different colors, but they all feel the same.So, if you are buying a cheap set of these then get the cheapest fiberglass/carbon fiber with a polypropylene core paddles that you can because they are probably from the same manufacturer or manufactured with the same machines/processes as all the rest. When you get up to really expensive paddles then that is not true anymore.I have not tried any wooden paddles (you can get those cheaper).

Love this. We had so much fun playing pickle ball.
