We absolutely loved this soup! And though love and canned soup aren't words you wouldn't normally think of considering the poor quality of most canned soups, this one is in a class of its own. Delicious, delicately spiced broth and plenty of chunky black beans. If you eat meat from time to time, consider browning chunks of Gossar Ranch (or other brand) of Italian sausage, or a good quality vegetarian brand, in butter and olive oil until browned and fully cooked. Pour over the soup, stir in and top with a little Parmesan cheese, a snip of basil and one can will easily stretch to feed two hungry people. A loaf of heated garlic bread will round things out nicely. We eat this soup almost every day for lunch, with or without sausage, adding leftover veggies from the fridge, and rice as well if we have it. Amy's black bean soup is great straight from the can or as a canvas on which to use your imagination. We buy it by the case and have yet to see a dented can. Thanks Amy's, for such delicious easy to serve foods!

This is the best vegetarian chili I have ever eaten. The taste is so on-the-stop good. It's not cheap but it's very tasty. Rather than hit a fast food joint for a grease burger, eat a can of this stuff. Nuke it for lunch at work. Super freakin' good. I have this friend named Amy and she make lots of good food for me ... YO AMY!!!

These are so yummy and hard to find! I find them to be the perfect taste of a mix of beans with veggies. I rarely find these at my local grocery store, so I was pleasantly surprised to find them here. They're basically a hearty/thick soup with room for mixing with other ingredients. There's a bit of texture as it's bean soup, but nothing absurd or even too close to actual whole beans. I just get them off the can and heat them up in the microwave on cold days. Really yummy!

I was introduced to Amy’s soups by a fellow car camper. Hearty French Country Soup has become my very favorite. I even pack a couple of cans when hiking overnight in the backcountry. It’s good to indulge occasionally.

I ‘ve tried About 12 of these Amy’s soups, this one is real sleeper . A French chefs version of an ubiquitous Southern Italian “Primo piate.” Better than any restaurant version, and let’s face it, far better than Traditional Italian American daily fare. I’ve lived in Italy and vited the contiguous French riviera. several times, on very little money but not as a ordinary tourist. I first was surprised to see the every day people in Nice are Italian. Later i learned it was fairly recently acquired by post Napoleonic France in the 1800’s along with Corsica as a cost of wars, Italian volunteers who fought for independence and human rights against the brutal occupying forces of foreign Roman Catholic monarchies! principally the brutal Austria Hungary empire and the Vatican itself (who used foreign mercenaries to protect themselves against the Italians. Did you ever wonder what’s with the Swiss guards?) In Southern Italian feudalism and orthodoxy was imposed by the the Spanish Bourbons, and Roman Catholic “Bloody Cardinals” in the Kingdom of the two Sicilies based in Naples. Thogh deleted from modern accounts of history along with US contrived history of atrocities and war crimes, land grabs of land from indigenous people by the “Allies,” was reflected several times in the 20th century. To a large extent, Italy’s aristocrat led republic , entered a disasterous Great War on the side of the allies was based on a promise of the return of those territories, as well as Trieste and te Dalmatia from the Austria. France renegged on their end , and the resultant post war armistice, punishing Germany and expanding English and French expansion were prime factors leading to the development of world war II, Mussellinis Fascist supported the Spanish Nationist power in the Tragic Spanish Civilwar. The Italian air force dropped bombs on civilian towns ( Picasso’s Guernica). Then when France fell to German invasion in a matter of weeks, Mussolini put in place a Italian protectorate over the lost provinces and Corsica, which of course, like England, defeated in every major battle, and wiped out Naval forces by the Axis Powers, was restored back, and expanded in Every continent. So Cannes, Nice, San Trope , Monte Carlo, quintessencely , French playgrounds for the hip super rich. And the resources for England of India the Middle East Hong Kong Gibraltar Jamaica, dtc acquired without a single shot.
