Does this come with an actual physical game cart or just a download code for the game?

The one i bought had the physical game card in it but i believe you can get the digital download if you would rather have that.

Why is this product delayed when preordered?

Studio MDHR wanted "The Delicious Last Course" DLC to be included in the physical version, but due to COVID-19 delays it pushed back from it's original release date, until the DLC development is completed.
