The cashews are grown in Cote D'Ivoire, or the Ivory Coast off of West Africa or in very rare cases if supplies are not available, in Vietnam. None are grown in China.

Do they sprout when you soak them? If they do, then they are raw, if not they are probably steamed or treated with a gas.

Yes we sprout them and they do sprout their little tails off!
