cable length was small, also hardisc stop detecting from case after 8year.....so keep your eye on data first...fortunely i had taken another backup..so ....but main hardisc still working ....but directly...as like open hardsic...not as this device.

Im using this product from past 4+ years. Till no no connectivity issue. No speed reduced. While It is a 4TB external hard drive Very good portable and handy to carry. Quality build from WD, many time it fell from my table no issues. Just plug and play, easy to use.I replaced my power adaptor, original adapter stoped working due to over voltage issue.

AWESOME!great product with 7.27 GB storage space. Now i can finally download all my steam library :P, and GOG, and uplay and others.write speed vary upto 65MB/ps. on USB 3 ( while copying) and 100 MB/ps+ while moving i.e. cut and paste.i will update in future with details regarding health but i am glad to have bought this.Also in recent time the reliability of disks with both seagate and WD with 4Tb and above space has improved greatly. So good times for pack rats like us.P.S.Do not install anything other than WD drive utility if you are not in need of auto back ups.And remember to reformat in NTFS as it is in exFat by default. (if you are not going to use in a mac).packaging was good and speedy delivery thanks amazon. (can you pack desktop internal disks like this?)REMEMBER TO REGISTER ON WD support page as it will give 3 years warranty and not 2 , i got till 2020 after registration, brought on prime day with no discount for 19,824/- INR . {BOO amazon}.(also remember to copy the default folder inside the disk BEFORE FORMATTING, you can download such online also no big deal. It contains the various utilities like WD disk manager etc.)
