GLASS POLISH DIY 75mm Windscreen Scratch Removal Kit for All Car Glass, Removes Deep Scratches, Wiper Blade Damage & Haziness, Restores Clear Visibility

I bought this kit to try to remove the scratches on 3 windows of a 60 year old Landrover and its done a great job. The windows had an accumulation of scratches ranging from deep dog claw marks to wiper marks and thousands of minor scratches. It was a very slow process and to do the inside and outside of my windows took three days so lots of patience is required. Obviously on a sixty year old vehicle new windows are no longer available so I was really pleased this kit did such a good job. If you follow the instructions and be patient then this product is great,also there was plenty of product in the kit to remove a heck of a lot of scratches.

Didn’t work, removed wiper scratch but left large buffer marks. Had to buy new windscreen.

It does the job. The rough disc removed the scratches on my windscreen, the smoother disc removed the scratches from the previous disc and the polish removed the mistiness from the smoother disc. So why only 3 stars? It is very, very difficult to get a perfect profile on the glass using a disc attached to a hand drill. I smoothed and I checked, and I smoothed and I checked over and over until I got the most perfect finish that I could. Even if I say so myself, it's pretty good and, unless you look at the windscreen from a very low-down angle outside the car, the screen looks perfect: beautifully shiny and apparently flawless. However, sit inside the car and the rake of the windscreen exaggerates the slight imperfections caused by removing some of the glass and there is a slight "optical wrinkle" when looking through the screen. Like I said, I think that I did a pretty good job. I read the instructions and really took my time but I reckon that an amateur with this kit will be unable to get an optically perfect finish in the way that a professional with pro-tools or a machine could manage. I recommend only using this product on windows where an optical artefact wouldn't really matter (eg side window) or if the damage to be removed is not particularly close to the driver's field of vision on the windscreen.

I can genuinely say that this is one of the best and most effective products I've bought in ages! I had some nasty, deep vertical scratches on my drivers door window - looked like marks caused by sand or similar from during previous ownership. I'd tried various DIY methods and got nowhere. I followed the clear instructions provided and the results were first class - scratches gone and no sign of clouding or distortion. My only advice to buyers is to go with the advice provided and use a mains drill as most batter drills won't have the speed and torque you need - you have to lean into it a bit to get best results!

Windscreen was deeply scratched by broken wiper blade, needed extra abrasive pads to get rid of scratch plus lots of polishing, left screen with slight distortion. This job was done over several days, maybe 8 hours in total. Cheaper than a new screen.

This is an excellent product that has saved me from having to buy a new windscreen. It had deep scratches caused by me not noticing that the rubber had come out of the wiper blade. It did the job a lot quicker than I had expected. I used my drill on 2500rpm which is a higher speed than the recommended 1500-2000 but had no problems I just kept checking that there was no heat build up. I would definitely recommend it.
