I put it on my belt at my back in a "scout carry" orientation. The blade is small enough to be legal in most places but still gives you enough blade to be useful. The finger grooves give you a comfortable grip for such a relatively small knife. It's nice that you can alter the orientation of the belt clip in any direction. The knife snaps into the sheath very well and it's probably not going to come out until you pull it out. I don't get the "neck knife" craze because that's incredibly uncomfortable for me and also seems like you're showing off the knife too much. Unfortunately most of the neck knife sized knives do not come with a functional sheath like this one has so I'm really glad I went with this one. Review: Great for self defense - It comes very sharp.. i cut my finger as soon as i tried cutting tape on a box to open it 😂but it is a great neck knife. You will have a sense of security wearing this! The knife clips onto my running belt (I do use a rubber band to ensure the knife sheath will not come off of my SPIbelt) and there is no bounce. The knife is extremely tight in the sheath and will not come out while running. I have used this for a couple months on runs of 20+ miles.
