This was THE TOOL that solved the mystery for me.
This helped me change my front wheel hub. I couldn't figure out exactly where the issue was coming from. It was a toss between scrubbing brake pads or the wheel hub and the mystery of which wheel(s). After clamping the pickups on the bolt of the hubs and taking a drive around the neighborhood i was able to pin point the exact problem. I was even able to plug the audio directly into the cars audio input. Diagnosed it as the front driver wheel hub. Got it changed and and saved money! (DIY-guy). Great tool to add to the atumotive tool box.

Will not recommend for anyone. 3 failed units.
I bought this unit for replacement Control Box for the original set that quit working. This unit arrived dead. I returned it for replacement, the replacement came in dead too. I request full refund.

Poor packaging.
Returning one because it didn't work. Hoping the second one will. It was packaged poorly. Not what I would expect from Steelman product.

USUALLY STEELMAN PRODUCTS DESERVE 5 STARS, JUST NOT TODAY
I'VE USED THIS PARTICULAR TOOL FOR PROBABLY 20 YEARS, USUALLY VERY RELIABLE. I BROKE MY CONTROL MODULE, SO ORDERED A REPLACEMENT. ARRIVED WHEN EXPECTED AND WELL PACKAGED. THE THING DIDN'T WORK THOUGH. I NEEDED IT SO I REMOVED THE REAR COVER AND FOUND A CAPACITOR ONLY HAD ONE LEAD SOLDERED IN PLACE, THE OTHER LEAD WAS NOT ATTACHED TO ANYTHING! STILL HAD MY OLD ONE SO I TOOK A LOOK AND SOLDERED IT WHERE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO GO. WORKS FINE WITH NO ISSUES. PRETTY SURE IT WAS JUST A ONE TIME THING, MY FIRST ONE LASTED FOREVER. NOT THE SELLERS FAULT EITHER, PACKAGE WAS SEALED AND NOT INTERFERED WITH, NO WAY THEY COULD HAVE KNOWN WITHOUT TRYING IT THEMSELVES
