Insta360 X5 Replacement Lens Kit

I somehow managed to scratch the lens on my new Insta 360 X5 so I bought a couple of these replacement lenses. It was extremely well packaged and included everything that I could possibly need to replace the old lens. The process was easy especially since they include very good instructions and also provided a link to a helpful video tutorial.

Being able to replace the lens myself is incredibly convenient.

Love my Insta360 X5 and the ability to replace the lenses. This lens replacement kit came in clutch when I accidentally scratched my screen-side lens. It look maybe 15-20 mins for me to figure out how to remove the old lens and prepare/install the new lens. The process was decently smooth, with only one issue. The tool they provide to remove the old lens and install the new lens has these curved notches/ridges that allow the tool to "grip" the lens to loosen and tighten. The notch/ridge portion of the tool is plastic and if you are not careful, while turning the tool against your lens (lefty loosey or righty tighty) the notches/ridges can grind down and become stripped on the metal rim of the lenses. You really need to be careful otherwise you could strip the tool and you won't be able to remove the lens (you'll have to order another lens replacement set because they do not sell the tools separately. That is my biggest gripe/concern about this lens replacement kit. Aside from that, it is perfect! I love that it comes with all the accessories to perform the lens replacement at home, in the studio, in the car, on a hike, traveling, etc. Insta360 just needs to release a V2 of this kit with a better quality tool. Overall I'm satisfied with the lens replacement kit. Definitely recommended!

Comes with all the necessities to properly replace a lens. Buy at least one if you plan to travel, you never know if you will damage a lens (or two)

I never thought I would need this and then the accident happened and I was so happy it was available (previous cameras didn't have the option). Easy instructions and now I'm back to as good as new!

Realmente la idea es simple y bien implementada. Es fácil de instalar siguiendo las instrucciones con un poco de atención y, teniendo cuidado, queda perfecto. Viene con un QR que te lleva a un vídeo que explica bien cómo hay que hacerlo. Recomiendo verlo un par de veces antes de empezar y hacer el proceso en un sitio amplio e intentado que no haya corrientes que puedan transportar partículas en suspensión.

Ho acquistato questo kit di ricambio lenti per la Insta360 X5 principalmente come misura preventiva, per averlo già a disposizione in caso di danni durante l’uso. Anche senza aver ancora dovuto effettuare la sostituzione, il contenuto della confezione è chiaro e ben organizzato. All’interno si trova tutto il necessario per cambiare una lente, comprese le istruzioni dettagliate e i guanti, cosa che fa capire che il kit è pensato anche per chi non ha particolare esperienza.
