Works, but awkward for some applications.
First, as far as I can tell, this is exactly as advertised. However depending on your application, it may or may not be the right tool. My anticipated uses were/are 1) administration of meds to cats and dogs and 2) application of oils and such on various mechanical things (cars, chainsaws, scissors etc. With respect to use 1, it has too much stiction. If I load it with say 3 ml of medicine and squirt it in the cat's mouth, it requires a magnitude of force from me to dispense such that it tends to blast into the pets mouth which makes them less happy than if it were a slower, more controlled delivery. I also like to use syringes to dissolve some pills for administration. I find that after one use (which is probably the manufacturers intent), the stiction increases to an extent I can hardly move the plunger. The above unanticipated behaviors are due to the construction of the syringe plunger. It has a single, poly seal on the plunger and rides within a rather tight, slightly elastic barrel. If you grasp the syringe by the barrel and run the plunger, you can feel the seal ripple past. Kind of weird. So it probably works for the intended purpose, but if you plan on using it as I do, or use it more than once, I suggest the type with the double rubber seals. I gave it a low rating only because it didn't do what I (and perhaps you) want - not because it is an inferior product.

A quality disposable syringe
We use these to give oral medication a few times a day. I just wash them out and reuse again and again. The nice thing is that they don't have a rubber stopper that gets sticky and stiff with repeated use and the syringe still provides a nice seal after repeated washings. Also, they're cheap and plentiful, so I use them for home maintenance, the kids' art projects, etc.Update: One thing worth noting if you're planning on re-using. There is a silicone (I assume) coating that wears off pretty quickly and makes the plunger harder to operate. If you're a cheapskate and kinda handy, you could try what I do. Slightly sand down the plunger by rotating it against a piece of sandpaper, emery cloth, a file, rock, chin whiskers, etc. This makes it just a tiny bit smaller and it should operate well. If you oversand, it may not provide a strong seal and leak a bit, but I have only done that one time. Please make sure to wash it well afterwards! :-)

NOT an oral syringe
These syringes come up if you search for oral syringes, but they have Luer slip tips. They can be used for medications given by mouth or feeding tube, but it is not a good idea to do so if you might also be using them for IV lines. In addition, they do not fit the tops of medication bottles designed for oral syringes as the oral syringes have a wider tip.Otherwise, the quality seems OK. They are individually wrapped. No leaks for the few we used for flushes, but I'm not sure how they would do if you were using them to give thick liquids as there is no "rubber" seal on the plunger.

Administration of medicine is not a smooth process
I bought these to give medication to one of my dogs. I like the size (they hold 6 mL), but it's almost like the plunger is just the slightest bit too big for the housing because it seems to take an unusual amount of force to depress it. My dog's dose is around 3 mL and I try to administer it in a smooth, continuous manner, but with these I have accidentally shot the whole amount in his mouth at once because dispensation isn't smooth. I would not re-purchase these.

Syringe is fine!
The syringe is good and it does the job well. I would recommend it for medical use and whatever else is needed.

Great for one time use
But after the first time they don't work very well. would still purchase because they are inexpensive in a hundred pack.

Finally an oral syringe that I can use without the lines rubbing off.
I love that I can sanitize and re-use these quite a few times before the dosing measurements rub off. I have had that issue with all of the ones that the pharmacy gives us, not to mention they charge $1.00/syringe. I am very pleased with the purchase.
