The bags are the perfect size to fill up the water softener; so much easier to manage compared to the larger 25kg bags which might be better value but at what ease--of-used cost? I cut off (most of) the top, and put if top down into the water softener, gently shaking the bag to encourage the contents to empty into softener's salt reservoir. All done and dusted in a minute with no mess. Turned up quickly with a friendly, local-ish driver and they do the job just fine. Price was acceptable. Recommend: Yes Buy again: Yes

Although larger bags offer a better price per kg, having bags this size is certainly easier on the back!!

This is a big help for putting salt in our softener. The more normal 25 Kgs sacks are hard to carry in from our garage store and difficult to empty into the salt reservoir without spilling a few salt tablets. These bags only weight 10Kgs. and are much easier to carry and to empty into the reservoir. Save your back and try them ! The price premium for the smaller pack is very small.
