I wanted to like this one more than I did, but neither the story or the art grabbed me on this one.

What's missing?This baby.In this oversized Marvel Graphic Novel, the conflict between Thor's immortal responsibilities and his mortal life as Don Blake comes to a head. Both "characters" are explored deeply; the advantages and failures of their separate identities. No supervillains in this one...this is Thor vs. Asgard, Thor vs. Earth, and, most importantly, Thor vs. HIMSELF.Jim Shooter and Priest (...er, sorry...Jim Owsley!) have given us an integral adventure in the canon of Thor. As for artist Paul Ryan, this is my favorite of all his work; his Lady Sif is nothing short of stunning.Highly Recommended
