So I actually got this pen light on a whim because it says that it can give more accurate color and I also paint as one of my day jobs. The light is actually really bright and I used it to check if my dog had fleas as well actually and since he's a shih tzu pomeranian, he had a lot of hair. I was able to see his skin clearly underneath to check. I also used it to see the different colors as it suggested as well and the bright light does help with that. I could really see my car scratches. The make is durable and strong. It feels pretty thick and is easy to use. I thought the UV light would be as big as the side light but it was a smaller portion than I thought and it's not as strong as the regular light, but it's still usable. The size in general is a bit bigger than a regular pen. The magnet is pretty strong and it has one on the clip and on the bottom so it's really well made. It's helpful if you need to use it as a light while working too.
