I like how affordable this product was. It was a great gift and sure made me happy, but the only irritation is it came rolled up instead of in a flat box, so, even with following instructions, it will not lie completely flat at the edges. Also there was a cosmetic defect as one corner looks melted and is hardened that way.

After nearly breaking my neck on this thing from it slipping out from under me (and even the desk leg that was on it!), I bought a 2x3 rug gripper. It shows through, obviously, and doesn't look good. It does stop the slipping.If I could go back in time, I would have purchased a similar chair mat, just not see through. There are solid color mats out there I think. That way the no-slip stuff won't show through and crisis averted!

Nice, but read the instructions BEFORE you unroll it (comes rolled up in the box). Nice, but I might prefer it to be completely clear--it is somewhat "textured" and semi-transparent or translucent (which may be better for safety), but still clear. Rolled out okay on my hardwood floor and laid out and flattened out nicely after putting books and the like on the corners for about 10 hours. I like it and would not want to return it, but I think it is too expensive for what you get. (Maybe the textured pattern might be effective in hiding any lint, dust, or small dirt particles.)

I bought this mat to cover the edge between the floor and the rug, for my desk chair, and it does that well. It is fairly flexible (thin) so it does the job, but others may think it is too thin. After only a few days there are depressions from the wheels of the chair.The only thing that was actually disappointing is the so-called "lip." I thought that would be a handy addition, to keep my chair from accidentally rolling off the mat. But the lip is barely a curve around the circumference of the mat, and it is relaxing further toward flatness every day. I'm still satisfied with it, and the price is right. But if you specifically require a real lip on your mat, this one won't meet your expectations.

Nothing could make this mat lose its shape. Unfortunately that shape is crumpled plastic garbage.I tried to put it on carpet and flatten it out with some heavy objects, but this thing is never going flat.Honestly, I don't understand how anyone could give this product more than the minimum number of stars.Definitely gonna have to return it for a refund, so thanks Evolve for taking time out of my day when the only time I have is during a lunch hour just so I can stand in line at the Post Office and return your garbage product.
