Review: Worked perfectly multiple times - Taught my 8 & 6 yr old, had them both work the drill while I pushed down and we busted a coal on the first try. They had a blast and it was a great way to learn about friction fire. Bearing system was perfect and smooth, fire board with notcheds worked perfectly, as did the actual bow/string. I was very pleased and highly recommend it for teaching friction fire.
Review: Fire starter - I was quite happy that it does give you friction to start your fire. I was not happy that upon putting it away the small bearing in the top press came out to never be seen again. Now you have friction on both ends but it does still work so I am giving it four stars.

It was super fun !!! It took a few practices but then once you get the right pressure and speed, it did not take much time. The video was very useful. I’ve always wanted to make friction fire and this kit is very good and encouraging for beginners :)
