XL review: These are really great outdoor dog beds and super affordable given the durability. The first one we ordered lasted four years and managed to hold its own with six dogs ranging in weight from 65 to 105 pounds (they tried to eat it, but failed). We just got two new ones. Be prepared that the parts are often mislabeled, but assembly is easy enough to figure out regardless. The only downside is that they are a B&@$!@ to put together. Prepare to use brute strength powered by every cuss word you’ve ever heard, and maybe some new ones you make up. If you have young kids, it’s probably best to send them to a friend’s house while you’re putting them together. This time I managed to get them together while hitting myself in the face only once with one of the legs, and one broken blood vessel in my thumb. Still worth it. 10/10 recommend.

I bought this cot for our standard size goldendoodle. She was scared to get on it and still has not about a year later. Our Catahoula Bully, however, has claimed it for himself. It was a bit large for the room I had it in, so I put it outside in the yard and he loves to lay in it and soak up the sun. It was fairly easy to assemble and has held up well to the outdoor elements.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Purchased this cot based on reviews and price. My dog loves to lay on it! It does get a few small puddles after it rains, but I just dump it off to dry. I suppose I could stand it up on its side to avoid, but it dries quickly in the sun.

Look at sizing a review ! Lol I got the biggest one. But hoenslty very durable, it does move if dog jumps on it. I would not recommend for older dogs, due to it not having rubber bottoms, so an older can get hurt. Also easy to clean, we recently had to accidents on it and we just took to the hose and soap. It does not retain odor !!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this item because I have had good success with Amazon Basics items. It is very sturdy and large. I did have to have screws put in the middle piece that is reinforcement because it kept falling off but it’s great now.

Bed is exactly as described. My fur baby loves to lay on this! It is perfect for his size, he is a pit/boxer mix and about 75lbs, and has plenty of space on this bed. Easy to assemble. Great buy!!

I was not expecting such a sturdy, large bed for the price. My girl weighs 80ish pounds & we could have actually downsized. It was very easy to put together also. This is a great item if you have an older dog who has trouble getting up & down.

I would say this is probably a decent, cheaper version of the other brand of dog bed, however, I have the same issues with XL. It seems the other sizes are okay, but when it comes to XL, the middle bar is too high, thus making half the feet not touch the ground. The side grips of the middle bar also do not stay on the bed. Initially, they will but if your dog gets on it in a certain way, it will pop out. I had to buy rubber feet so it wouldn’t wobble, as others have suggested. I believe they were indeed the 1” sizes. Otherwise, it’s good for the price. Just a couple of design flaws for the XL.
