I bought this as a replacement battery for a Lenovo T410i laptop, because the capacity of the old battery was down to 40% of specs. I compared the old and new batteries with respect to self-discharge rate (how fast the battery capacity drops when not connected to the computer) and rate of discharge under load. The two batteries showed very similar rates. In addition, the measured capacity of the new battery was very near to the stated specs. However, there was something odd about the information on the battery, as reported by the computer's Power Manager. The manufacture date of the battery was given as 2019-03-26, but the first used date was given as 2013-05, six years before the manufacture date! When I asked the vendor to explain this obvious discrepancy, they just offered a refund on the battery. Since the battery seems to check out OK otherwise, I haven't returned it, but I did not feel I could give it a five star rating. We'll see how this battery holds up with time.Update added 2-6-21:Less than one month after the warranty expired, the measured capacity of the battery suddenly dropped to less then half of specs (24 Wh vs. 57 Wh). This was true even though the battery continues to report a capacity only slightly less then specs (54 Wh vs. 57 Wh) to the Windows 7 Power Manager. Furthermore, while discharging under normal use, the reported percent capacity remaining drops very rapidly from 50% to 1%. Taken with the anomaly noted in my initial review, this suggests a faulty management chip in the battery. Purchase of a battery from this vendor is therefore not recommended, since there appears to be no way to determine the actual capacity of the battery other than by direct measurement of the charge and discharge curves.

I was skeptically to buy non oem battery to place my original one. But this battery was pretty good. The fitment was spot on. The only downside to this battery was the clips that hold the battery to my laptop are not durable. One broke awhile back which I did not notice. And the other two just broke a couple hours ago when I took it out and put it back in. Now I am using tape to hold my battery in while I order a new battery.

I like this battery. However, I suspect there may a compatibility issue with my old T430 - not this vendor's fault. I recommend testing the laptop under all scenarios (hybernate, sleep, power management, connected and disconnected.] I had to disconnect and reconnect the battery, plug the laptop in, and reset the BIOS twice when I first swapped the old battery for the new one. Having said that, I have not had any issues since I first installed it.

Works well, as expected. Charged up quickly and seems to be giving me the expected life. Looks like a good replacement for my Lenovo T430 OEM Battery.

Better than the original extended battery. I’ve only used with WiFi on, no throttling, Bluetooth always on and brightness @ 80-90-100% and battery life is generally 2.5 to 3 plus hours. #poweruser

Definitely works, I haven't had it long enough to evaluate longevity or battery life yet. In any case, an improvement over the 5-10 minutes the old one was down to. I expect it to at least last as long as the laptop itself remains useful, and far cheaper than the lenovo branded option.

So far so good. My old one was trashed and the price of this one was very good. I was skeptical but "So far so good". I'm using it right now and have been for about 1 1/2 hours. Says I have an hour left. OK with me.

Hat wie beschrieben genau für mein T520 gepasst, Preis ist auch gut. Mal sehen, wie lang er funktioniert.

Ich habe den akku jetzt 10 Tage und musste leider feststellen das die angegebene Kapazität nicht mit der tatsächlichen übereinstimmt (siehe 1. Screenshot). Seit heute kommt noch das Problem hinzu das sich der Akku nicht mehr laden lässt (siehe 2. Screenshot).

Da der Akku bereits nach 2 Wochen defekt war nicht empfehlenswert.
