SauderMiscellaneous Storage Cabinet/ Pantry Cabinet, Rustic Walnut finish

It's Sauder, what else can I say, you get what you pay for. I needed a pantry cabinet, and this was the best solution for the price.Building it was time consuming, but easy. The hardest part was aligning the doors. I used a piece of cardboard from the box to gap the bottom of the door from the base of the cabinet, you could also use an 1/8 inch spacer of any kind. Gapping the sides of the doors was a little harder, as I had to close the door I was gapping, pull the door to an 1/8 inch gap, then reach in to tighten the hardware. Having an extra set of hands helps with the doors.The material is flimsy; also, the particle board was thinner than I remember most Sauder units being. The back will help sturdy the unit, be sure to put it on properly, as you will need to nail the back and it is pre-marked with holes for the base shelf above the drawer. That being said, once it is standing and you have weight on it, it's not that bad. The shelves are thin, too, but currently hold weight without having to brace them (something I may do in the future).Price and the ability to build this was definitely the driving force in this purchase. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and final product.

Took my son all day to put together. As heavy as the box was, once put together it feels “cheap.” It looks nice, but I’m a little concerned about its sturdiness

I don't like to leave bad reviews but.. I had a few of these cabinets in my cart, accidentally ordered the wrong one. I tried to cancel a few hours later and they said no.. my fault I guess. It took a while for delivery and it still came late. And it was pretty damaged. But it worked out and looks decent. I won't have this for a long time, cause I'm sure when I try to move it, it will fall apart due to the damage. It's a good size, it would be been nice with one more shelf.

I bought a number of cabinets from Sauder, including this one. They were all questionable quality - things not aligning well, poor quality wood - essentially as cheaply made as possible to be passable once assembled. It's just okay.

A challenge to assemble. It took longer than the instructions noted. Looks great. Blends in with our other wood items. Can hold wire quite a bit of stuff. You will not be disappointed

The media could not be loaded.  I’m actually really pissed that I bought this furniture for this price, I have purchased Sauder furniture before over a decade ago and we still have it. This is NOT it anymore. I will say five stars for getting me a replacement part ASAP after I had to request one for an obviously defective board was packed. This thing will fall apart on its way to my office where I planned to use it. I wouldn’t trust this anywhere near my family, nor the people that come see me! I’m really disappointed because it looks good standing there. The color is fantastic. But man. If the 1/8” thick particle board on the side pieces were as thick as the 1/2” boards used for the shelving, this baby would be so solid. Instead, nothing fits properly cuz everything is shifting, with opening the doors, opening the drawer… what. The HECK. Im a DIYer and I LOVE putting things to together. The directions kinda sucked. But I got thru it. Now, $254 in the HOLE… I gotta get rid of it at a significant loss. DO NOT BUY THIS. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS! DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE!!!!The video shows how wobbly it is, those thin ass boards shift so much in the frame (that’s how those parts came) for the price of this piece it should NOT be that damn fragile!

We had to buy hinges for this cabinet, as the hinges that come with it would not work. It is a beautiful cabinet and with extra support and work, it is steady.

Product looks decent once assembled however assembly was complicated. Instructions were not very clear. The back panel “nails” were actually mini screws. I recommend buying your own nails to attach the back panel vs attempting to nail the ones provided.
