This dish doesnt look or feel like Melmaline. It is super sturdy. Great for Caprese salad for guests. It presents food beautifully.

Perfect size for what l intended to use it for

Elegant tray. Sculptured, perfect statement of contemporary/classic design. Substantial dimension to plate body and rim, with refined, nicely sculpted, curved finish to edge and base. Melamine makes it light weight, but its design gives it the presence of a quality ceramic piece. As it is not all that wide, it can function where other trays might not -- at the center of a not-so-wide dining room table, on a shelf, pushed to the back of the kitchen counter, or next to the stove, on a narrow run of counter.Update -- Still glad I made this purchase. Bought this almost a year ago and still looks great. Still bright white and no chips or cracks, despite being knocked about and condiment bottles dropped on it. Am back to look for another one for a friend. : )

It's Melamine as listed in the description, so quite strong and break resistant but I bought it as an underliner for a rectangular Bonsai planter and the inside dimensions are so much smaller than the outside dissensions that are given in the listing that it is too small. I will find a way to make it work

I bought this platter to use to serve Summer Buffet Food and it is perfect. Attractive, great size and sturdy. Looks great on the table.

Purchased to use as a cat trough and it works great. Surprised by the quality. Super lightweight and doesn't break when the cats slide it around the floor.

This is actually heavier than thin plastic. Feels very solid and looks great. Very pleased with it.

I bought this to put on the top of my toilet tank so I could dump out my makeup bag while getting ready, then switch things up and repack. (I have a pedestal sink - so no counter space.) Don't know why it took me so long to come up with this convenient idea but it's great!

Great for a mezze platter or for serving guests.
