My daughter is very happy with it, so I'm happy with it; she's happy with the way it looks and the added desk underneath, and I am satisfied with the quality and sturdiness. FedEx left both big and heavy boxes (80 and 76 pounds) over by landlord's backyard, so thank goodness for my once in a while weight lifting exercises. One box I was able to carry to second floor causing me a slight back pain, and the second was very uncomfortable (width) to carry, and so I opened it outside and carried the pieces a couple at a time up the stairs.. Anyone who is handy with their hands should be able to put it together by himself, although it is a bit of work at times, but where there is a will there is a way. It took me, by myself, about five and a half hours to set it up. And as I said, my daughter is very happy with it. And last, it is a full size bed, and with the stairs added to the side of the bed, there does not seem to be any danger of it tipping over. I did not mix the bolts and screws, and that made things a bit easier.

Absolutely love this bed. It saves you a lot of space and it is very cute. It was less complicated to build then I thought but you definitely need 2 people to build this. There is one step that requires like four people though and that's when you have to attach the part that supports the actual mattress. You can also choose which side you want to have the stairs on and the fabric pockets as well. I am giving it a 4 star though because it is a bit wobbly if you don't secure it to the wall, and there was also a bolt that got stuck and wouldn't go in all the way.

We just got it put together a few days ago. Overall, we’re very happy with this purchase. The bed seems sturdy for my teen who is the size of an adult, there’s some very slight wobbling when he climbs in and out of the bed, but anchoring it should solve that issue and it’s really not a bad wobble anyway. There was still plenty of room underneath for the desk he already had, so now he has two plus the shelves it comes with. Assembly took awhile, but honestly wasn’t as bad as we thought it would be. The most difficult part was the bit that goes under the mattress. Tip: fix the bars in place until you get to one with screws, then very lightly tighten otherwise they will just keep falling out. You don’t want them too tight though because you still have to fit the rest of the bars in and they do NOT bend, which is good. Once they’re all in place, go back and tighten them all the way. We needed three of us to get the frames onto the bed part, two of us to hold it up and one to screw, but could probably be done with two people or one if you can get creative. Would buy it again, but if anything changes I will update the review.

Dimensions were exact and is really well built for the price. Not to difficult to set up either.

I’ll start with the fact that we really like this bed. It was priced well compared to the MANY other options we considered. We wanted a desk & stairs versus ladder & this checked those boxes. Next up, the rail height. It says to use 4-6” mattress but we got an 8” because my kiddo is a bit older and doesn’t roll out of bed. It still has room above the mattress to keep him in. The boxes (there were two) were dropped on my driveway by the delivery driver and I had to drag them inside by myself because I was home alone. They’re probably 100 lbs each, maybe more. It’s basically two boxes full of metal. I’m gonna be in some pain tomorrow. Recommend a second person to help you. Assembly wasn’t the worst I’ve ever done, but some mistakes were made. Some of the parts don’t have their number stickers - if there are 8 of something, they only put the number stickers on one of them - I thought that was a little dumb. Some of the pieces were hard for me to tell what was up and what was down, and I had to reassemble some sections because I put something together upside down. The diagrams in the instructions are tiny. We have not yet anchored to the wall, but plan on it. It’s a little wobbly without the anchors. I don’t see it going anywhere though. Nothing was missing, nothing was damaged. My biggest complaint is the tape & bags were gross. Like. Film on them. And the hardware is matte black and must have some type of coating or lubricant, which it turned my fingers black and I had to continually wash my hands through the process. This is why I docked a star. End-to-end, this took me about 5-6 hours by myself. If you had help, it could go faster. Overall, I’d recommend this bed.

My daughter is absolutely in love with this product! I got it for her because she shares a room with her brother and we needed more space so the under area was perfect! I love this product, but I will say that the railing on the bed was very low and so we did improvise with that and Even though that happened, I still love it! It was not the easiest thing to assemble and it was quite a challenge, but it was very much worth it so if you are buying this bed and when you assemble it just remember, it takes a long time and it takes two or more people. This bed is very stable and does not very much shake it except for when my son, a teenager, got on it he kind of shook the bed, but he’s also very big so I would expect that from any bed. And overall, I love this bed. It’s perfect for all of the needs that we have and I love it.

Worked out really well for us. I prefer metal for something like this because I don't think the fake wood alternatives in this category and price range will last as long. The things I don't like are all the visible unpainted screws and washers, but it's a small matter. Also, ours is in a corner and doesn't wiggle much, but if yours does, remember that they include brackets to secure it to the wall!
