Good quality, quick and easy transaction

Used for kitchen extract soffit end. Sturdy but shame there is no fly/insect screen moulded in. Purchased separate suitable mesh cut and fitted it myself. Generally a good product once you’ve worked out how to remove the outer part to access screw fixings without breaking anything.

I used the product on my garden shed. Easy to install

I originally bought to put on the outside of a rectangular tumble dryer vent hose. The fit is tight once on never comes off and yo have to use force to get it on. We cut notches in the rectangular bit so that it would ease on and off so I could clean out fluff. Then I realised that it did not have any closing flaps which meant that the vents stay open all the time. It was my mistake but we bought an alternative with flaps so did not use this.

Simple design for a simple function. Fairly easy to install. Some words of warning, though. The description says that the rectangular spigot on the rear of the grille is FEMALE, to fit OUTSIDE a standard 110mm x 54mm duct. As you can see from the measurements on the diagram on the Amazon website, the spigot is actually MALE, and fits INSIDE a standard 110x54 duct. It actually fits well, so as long as you are prepared for the fact that its a male fitting, its no problem. A second minor problem is that it is quite difficult to separate the grill part from the sourounding from so as the screw the frame to the wall. So if you ever need to remove the grill at any time, it could be difficult. That said, at the price, it's good buy.
