This saw shows Japanese dedication to quality. This is the best small hand saw I've ever owned. It cuts wood like a hot knife through butter.

Nice size and fits in the hand well. It's good for pruning small tree limbs. The blade is very sharp and leaves a nice cut edge. The fine toothed blade doesn't cut nearly as quickly as medium or coarse. A more aggressive blade is going to be a better choice for cutting larger diameter branches. I have a PocketBoy but it's the shorter one – I prefer this size and design over the PocketBoy. Although the small PocketBoy has a medium blade so it rips through the wood faster.

I’m 72, not as strong as I once was, but still love gardening. This saw is lightweight, easy to store, and easy to use. Super sharp. The only thing I wish was different - I wish it had a locking closure. I’ve had no issues with it accidentally opening, but a locking closure would have been a welcomed feature. Maybe that’s just what I had grown accustomed to with my old folding handsaw.

I like Silky saws so I was expecting a good one, but this is the best pruning saw I've ever had. I wanted a real clean cut for larger shrubs and small tree branches, so I went with the finer teeth that this saw has. I thought I'd be sacrificing some cutting speed, but I don't think so. Super fast, super smooth. I used it for a couple of seasons and every time I used it I was impressed all over again. So I just ordered two more for family members.

And I have had zero issues with any of them. Great quality, fast cutting, easy to clean.

Sharp and effective. However, the handle feels a bit cheap, and the bias of the teeth towards the outside edges of the blade keeps it from finding its groove, and the blade has a tendency to jump around. I think this is just an aspect of this type of blade.

This is by far the best silky. Super light not very expensive and cuts like a Silky.

My only issue is there is no lock or case for it. I used a hair tie and sock to insure that it didn’t open in my pack. It is very sharp and could easily cut my pack or its contents. You can adjust the tension of the blade, but it becomes a pain to open and close if it’s too tight. It cuts most all wood like butter, it didn’t not jam on me and the alternative angle was nice but not use a lot for me.

Rasch und zuverlässig geliefert. Die Säge macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Durch die feine Zahnung lassen sich Äste auch an unzugänglicheren Stellen noch absägen. Das Sägeblatt ist etwas dünn und neigt bei zuviel Druck zum Umbiegen.
