Big Statement Clock in a smaller case!
This may be a small clock, but it has a big presence! So very regal looking in its sturdy wooden case which reminds me of a time gone by, with accuracy that I have come to know from Seiko. The wooden case has an expensive feel to it to let you know the clock mechanism inside is well protected & the sweep-second is slender gold, as it moves around, silently, on the face of the clock, to show it's counting off the minutes of the day. There is no sound that comes from this beautiful clock! Each number on the clock is done in a roman numeral, which also adds character to the look of the clock. Also, this clock comes with an alarm, which you can choose a loud or soft sound to use. I use a battery-operated votive to place in front for easier reading of the clock when it's in the living room, on my TV table, but it's usually on my bedroom table most of the time. I bring it to the living room because I miss it and want to see it more than just at night! Looks like one you would see in a doctor's, or an attorney's office! Soo very glad I found it! It adds so much warmth to my small home! Love it❣

Perfect for what I wanted
After 25 years, my old alarm clock was through working. Hated to see it go and now that I am retired, my needs for an alarm clock are different than when I was up at 04:30 five days a week. Now I wanted something durable for sure, but a little classier in design since the alarm is not often needed these days, but when it is, I wanted a reliable one. So I searched all the stores and found NOTHING that I would put on my nightstand. And I wanted a non-electric clock additionally. So finally I turned to Amazon and here it was.....this really nice looking clock, perfect for setting atop my nightstand, with a reliable and easy alarm setting and non-obnoxious sound, and it is easy to read in the light. So yes, perfect for me. Construction and quality are what you would expect from Seiko so I am just a very pleased customer.

Cute little clock.
Really cute little clock. Looks great on my desk. It really is 6"x5"x2" so keep in mind that it is a small clock. It is made in China so keep that in mind also. However, mine is made well, no defects and keeps great time. The alarm works also, but I have no plans to use it as it is difficult to turn off. The instructions that came with this clock were for a different clock, so I had to figure it out myself, a little trial and error. Overall I do like this clock and am happy with it.

Small, quaint elegance in a practical alarm clock
The wood on this clock is beautiful as well as the nifty scrolled look, roman numeral face and simple yet somewhat elegant design of this 'mantel' clock. It IS smaller than you might imagine but actually quite perfect for a nightstand, as it does not take up much room.As mentioned there is no backlight, so if you MUST see the time in the middle of the night you would need other lighting to help you see it, but that is not a concern of mine so it doesn't bother me.The alarm itself is neither annoying nor too loud, another big plus(es). The clock is also very quiet, you do not even know it is there. We put this in the guest room when we have guest sleep over and I always get compliments on it.Other than the backlight, there are no negatives.

Smaller and elegant
Needed a large-faced clock in a man's office and this fit the fill. It was nicer than I expected and a well-received gift.

Nice, but a little hard to read
This is a decorative and very attractive little clock. My only criticism: in the photo the face appears clear and easy to read. In reality we have found that the clock face is not so distinct, and that might be OK depending on how prominent you want time displayed. (The glass reflects other lights in the room & the face is set back a bit so you have to get closer to the clock to be sure of the time.)

A classy little desk clock
This is an attractive little desk clock which does not take up much space on the desk After several weeks, the time has remained accurate to within several seconds - easily verified using the sweep second hand. The Roman numerals give it a nice faux-classic look. I am not terribly discriminating - just needed a sedate display for time-at-a-glance use - and this aptly fills the bill. The alarm works quite well, is not particularly subtle, but for my purposes is not needed.

Little Clock
I actually like this clock. The size is wonderful and the quality is, of course, Seiko. But the alarm discription was most misleading and I was not thrilled with it. It isn't as loud as some so it will work but it wasn't exactly what my husband wanted. I will keep it anyway as it is really pretty and use it in the guest room.

Beautiful but LOUD alarm
This is a beautiful, small clock perfectly sized for a bedside table. I bought it to suit our traditional decor and serve as an alarm clock, so that I can keep my phone outside of the bedroom. The only problem is that the alarm sounds like a fire alarm- loud, shrill, rapid-fire beeping. I’m going to keep the clock and see if I can switch out the mechanism with another analogue clock with an ascending or volume-controlled alarm. TLDR - beautiful design, LOUD alarm.
