This stuff is amazing! I’m guilty….I always read reviews, but never write them so this is my first one and long over-due because this product deserves it. If you, like me, have been desperately looking for a good peanut butter alternative – your search is over. I have always been a huge fan of peanut butter and grew up eating it, snacking on it... until I had a son that is severely allergic and landed in the hospital ER as a toddler due to the severity of his reaction. That was many years ago and since then I have been test-tasting many, many peanut butter substitutes, regardless of the cost. With that said, Wowbutter is hands-down the absolute best product out there! The flavor, the texture and consistency - honestly, you would never know the difference. I tried many other brands but there was always something missing - not sweet enough, not salty enough, an odd consistency, some were paste-like, some were strangely squishy. Some, I could hardly swallow and just tossed the entire jar in the garbage. Not so with Wowbutter! Of all the brands I’ve tried, none of them even comes close in my opinion. Just recently, I gave a jar of Wowbutter to the mother of one of my son’s friends. This little boy is extremely particular about his food and loves PB&J for lunch but wants to sit at my son's allergy table at school. My son came home from school so happy this week telling me his friend loves Wowbutter! Now if a picky 11-year-old boy can't tell the difference between Wowbutter and his usual peanut butter, that's telling you something! For this reason, I felt compelled to at least share my experience in a review here on Amazon. I hope this helps anyone who has been searching for the perfect peanut butter substitute. I know everything is a matter of taste, but take it from a former peanut butter addict – Wowbutter is delicious. (p.s. I used to love snacking on crunchy peanut butter, and the Wowbutter Crunchy is fantastic too!)

I had to give up my favorite comfort food not long ago because I have a peanut sensitivity that triggers migraines. I missed the simple enjoyment of a PB and J, but I hated migraines worse. I had friends that suggested almond butter, sunflower butter, and cashew butter, all of which had various downsides - mainly the consistency. They were all too runny or too dry, but WOWbutter has the texture and flavor that I missed, and NO MIGRAINES! I think it's the best! Thank goodness someone thought to make this stuff. I substitute it anywhere I'd normally put peanut butter, cookies, candies, on crackers, and of course my beloved PB and J!

We've been using Wow butter for many years due to my son's peanut and tree nut allergy. It's the best safe non-nut butter out there, in my humble opinion. It spreads well and tastes great. It occasionally requires mixing if it separates, but that's to be expected with any fresher butter product. We can't always find it at our local markets, however, so we typically order it from Amazon. When we recently reordered it in August, it arrived so well packaged. Although it doesn't need to be refrigerated, Amazon actually took care to protect the product during this year's extreme summer heat. The six-pack of jars came packed in cooling insulation along with reusable cooling gel-packs. This was a pleasant surprise and inspired me to write a rare review. One item of note, far down the page of the product description on Amazon it says "nut type: peanut." This is not true. There are no peanuts or tree nuts, or cross-contamination of them, in this product. Just a heads up on that.

Great taste in place of peanut butter; even when baking 💟

This is by far my favorite nut free substitute for peanut butter. The price on Amazon is great too.

This is a great allergy-friendly option! I use it with jelly sandwiches and swap it out with peanut butter to make cookies and other treats that might otherwise be made with peanut butter. It is easy to spread, no big separation of oil and product. In baking, it's perfect. On sandwiches, the flavor is a little different than other nut butters, but has a nice roasted flavor and eventually wins out. This is also a really high protein option. We use Wowbutter regularly in our home.

I can’t express my love for this stuff! My oldest son LOVES peanut butter but when he got diagnosed with a high allergic reaction to nuts, we needed an alternative. THIS is the perfect alternative to peanut butter! It tastes just like it, has a very similar consistency, can be used in bake goods just like peanut butter, and so on. I recommend this to everyone who says they have a nut allergy! My son eats a peanut butter sandwich for lunch daily, so I buy the case. Thank you Wowbutter for such an incredible product! It’s perfect!

Great substitute for peanut butter especially for those whom are allergic! Nothing negative to say we can’t stop buying it!
