LONDON BOYS CD Purchase
This was a an excellent album! Have older albums & 12" singles by them, all on vinyl, & this was the best! Contrary to some, they actually DID their own vocals & their stage shows were terrific! A former DJ myself, I used to spin their records in clubs & the dance floor was always packed!Their music is happy, up-beat, & positive! A shame we won't hear anymore from them due to their untimely death. I recommend checking out their previous albums & singles such as "Sweet Soul Music", (album) & the very rare single "MoonRaker". Look for their 'live' perfomances on YouTube.

not so hot
The London Boys appeared and disappeared within a year, they had a fantastic eurobeat hit single "requiem" followed by a string of non-charting flops, some of which are contained on this album. Like many mid-european eurobeat singers, they couldn't actually sing, all vocals were done by the producer and assistant and the two men on the cover were catalogue models hired to sell the record and dance and lip sync on stage.Very much a one hit wonder and certainly not worth the price people are trying to sell it for, not everything that is rare and deleted is because it was good, sometimes it was just so bad it wasn't worth republishing.

a great album from 1989
This is a fantastic album! I bought this - on vinyl - in 1989, at the age of 14, and thought it was the best LP in the world ... while I no longer think that, I still consider it to be a great set of songs. I've recently re-purchased this on CD, and have listened to these tunes time and time again. While my favourites are "Requiem", "Harlem Desire", and "London Nights", I love every song on the album. When it was originally released, it contained 12 tracks ... now it has 4 bonus tracks. Every song has been digitally re-mastered, and sounds crisp and fresh. The London Boys were a great duo, and this is their finest album. This is fun, exciting and adventurous pop music. Great stuff!

The Twelve Commandments Of Dance
I had this CD when it first came out in 1989 but this one has been repackaged with all the extended versions of the singles so is well worth repurchasing if you have not got the 12 inch singles of the London Boys

London Boys - a blast from the past
My cassette tape of this album was so well used and loved that the sound quality had diminished. Accordingly, to purchase this CD and to listen to all the brilliant tracks with perfect clarity has brought back many memories. This is a CD which has such catchy songs - you are soon singing along. Good for playing loud, when the neighbours are out, or in your car, especially on sunny days. Highly recommended.
