Honey-Can-Do SFT-01166 Soft Storage Chest, Black Folding Car Trunk Organizer

This is an excellent trunk organizer! It allows me to keep all sorts of supplies in my trunk but still have it looking neat and tidy. I also like the fact that it helps keep things upright, like bags of groceries. It also allows me to better utilize the space in my trunk and find things much faster than when they were all jumbled together. It folds easily and is quite compact when not full. It’s sturdier than I expected. The Velcro on the bottom keeps it in place. The mesh pockets are really handy for smaller items like chargers or jumper cables.

A surprisingly sturdy organizer for my car trunk. It's a good fit (see pic), a good capacity, and stays in place. Definitely a winner. I decided my new car deserved a better way to store the various emergency supplies and tools I keep in the trunk: gas can, jumper cables, inverter, tire pump, flare kit, small toolbox, etc. I also like to be able to easily remove the whole batch of stuff when I have to load larger cargo. This organizer is the perfect size for my Jetta current-generation (MK6, which covers 2011-2015). It's the right width that 3 organizers could fit side-by-side length-wise, with some extra space at the end. The height is just (barely) short enough to not block the trunk hinges, and so I can reach over to store items in the extra space behind the wheel-wells. The organizer is better quality than I expected for the sub-$12 price I paid. The sides are semi-rigid, and the bottom (soft) seems reasonably sturdy. The handles are securely attached. The material didn't seem to strain under the 10-12 lbs I loaded initially (when I carried it around, normally I just leave it in my trunk). There's are 4 velcro strips on the bottom which keep the organizer in place if you have a carpeted trunk liner-- it didn't budge at all during a 200 mile RT with some brisk turns. Unfolded and empty, the organizer stays mostly open/upright on its own. The side (mesh) pockets don't have a lot of give, so they are only suited for small or flat item (cables, screwdriver, etc). I looked at a number of other similarly priced organizers here-- most were also black nylon-like material, but many had bad reviews on the material, sturdiness, and design. I'm glad I went with this one. A nice, neat way to organize the things you carry in your vehicle, and be able to easily remove them when the space is needed for something else. Highly Recommended

Ok, so when I bought this I expected that it might not hold everything I want it to (mainly to keep supplies in the car in case I get stuck somewhere for an extended period of time). But I was so thoroughly impressed by it I had to leave some feedback. What I didn't know when buying it was that the bottom actually has velcro to hold it in place (if you have fabric in your trunk like I do). The velcro literally made me giddy, and it ACTUALLY WORKS. I still used a bungee cord to secure the straps of the organizer, but the velcro alone holds up surprisingly well. So not only does it stay in place, but the product is bigger than I expected and can easily hold a folded blanket, a big can of fix-a-flat, duct tape roll, two folded outfits, a case of water bottles, a couple boxes of energy bars, a big first aid kit, jumper cables, and has a good deal of more room to add more. The mesh pockets on the side are also decently sized and hold misc medicines and a rather big multitool. Overall I am very impressed and happy with the quality of this product and the price. If I had a need to buy more of them, I definitely would.

I recognized the brand name on this, and that was the deciding factor on our purchase. I'm really pleased with the quality of the workmanship. It has some weight (you want a certain amount so it's not floppy), but not too much. It folds easily so it fits in the back of our small SUV, with easy access. The black color looks good in the cargo area, and this will keep things from sliding around for sure.

Very roomy, strong outer pockets. Stays put in cargo space. Only downfall is that the interior divider fabric is thin papery fabric and it ripped on the very first use.

Exactamente lo que necesitaba. Tamaño amplio pero no abarca todo el espacio en una cajuela. Realmente se puede mantener en una esquina o la parte posterior y se ve limpio y organizado. No es material endeble pero consideren no colocar productos dentro muy pesados como enceres grandes como varios galones de líquidos. No sería adecuado. Para lo general como bolsas, cables, juguetes y similares es perfecto

Great product, the velcro really works and stops it slipping whilst driving. If you have a small hatch such as an Aygo it will take up two thirds of the boot. I am very happy with this item

I bought this organizer two months ago to replace a smaller hard plastic box that I used to hold some “essentials”, but was not large enough to carry anything else. I picked this organizer based on price and size, and liked that it has stiff (but collapsible) walls. Having collapsible (and not rigid) walls is very helpful the odd time you need to carry an awkward-sized load – most recently for me, this was 3 winter tires (the other was in the backseat). While my old solid plastic box would have needed to be removed, I was able to manipulate this organizer to accommodate the load. I use one compartment to carry my “essentials” (4L jug of oil, 4L jug of washer fluid, jumper cables, power inverter & extension cord, 12V air pump, bungee cords, ratchet set). The other compartment carries small items that I’m always adding/removing such as re-usable grocery bags and items being brought home from the store. If I need extra trunk space, one compartment (or both) can be emptied and folded up to take up virtually no space. The organizer stays fixed in place in my car, but keep in mind that the weight from the oil & washer fluid helps, as does my car’s rubber trunk mat. I have removed the organizer from my trunk a couple times with the handles, but removed the heavy fluid bottles first to reduce the chance of damaging the bottom of the organizer. There are mesh pockets along one side of the organizer but I find them too small to be useful. Overall, I’m very happy this organizer and anticipate it lasting many years.
