Edited review: 3/21/25 I liked this light so much I bought a second one, however, the second one is much brighter as this one is no longer at its full brightness. It did have a dim mode and a brighter mode and now there is no difference between both dim modes. As this light is only a few months old this is incredibly discouraging. I'm changing my review from a five star to a one star. Exactly as described! We removed our microwave and we're looking for a nice light do you have on at night. I was able to hide the cord slightly by mounting it with a little cord hiding piece and feeding it up through where our microwave plugged in. Simple and easy to mount and very low profile. I love the soft white color of the light and it has a high and a low setting. The screws included were perfect and short. The 24 inch description was perfect to the actual light measurement. It also comes with an extra attachment. If you want to link it to another light, I did not need this feature, though.

**WARNING: Plan and engineer every detail of the installation VERY carefully before you buy these. This is not a quick DIY project. Also, know you have to click the tiny switch on each light bar to turn it on...not sure if a had large / man hands if I could even use the switches? **Bought these for under my kitchen cabinets to light up my counters. My cabinets do NOT have flat bottoms but rather are framed and the bars were going across multiple units. I added small boards in the corner to the bottom of that cabinet. I had to literally lay on my back, feet on the floor to install these. I am only 5'2 and this was a job for a contortionist, not an older adult. **The screws split the frames of the cabinets over time, I tried duct tape to secure the light bars, but they kept falling and sliding out of the slots for the screw heads that remained on the board I put in the corner. I removed them "temporarily." **After almost a year waiting to put them up again, finally gave it another try. Built up the cabinet bottoms to provide a flat surface to screw mounts into. Added additional screws beside the light bars to keep them from slipping off the screw heads. (Even when I had secured them the light bar still moved and fell off...and more tightening at the mounting would have meant cracking the plastic and leaving me no way to put them up.) **Have a cord loop hanging where I joined the two and have to figure out some way to tack that up. Also, the cord hangs off one end then comes across my backsplash to the electrical outlet. Concealing the cord is another project. **On the plus side: Units are lightweight. Very bright and provided exactly the bright lighting I needed to work on my counter tops. Appreciate the option of a softer light. BOTTOM LINE: The amount of time I invested, it would have been so worth it to hire a handyman. Lesson learned.

So far so good. We did strip the screw heads trying to install but everything good otherwise.
