Outdoor Products Skyline Backpack
I'll start with the good of this bag. I was looking for a smaller sized backpack so I didn't always have to lug around my full sized backpack for day trips. I also have a hydration bladder/backpack but there are no pockets for carrying extra belongings. After searching high and low for a medium sized backpack, I settled on this one. The most important factor to me was having the hydration compatibility which I am glad to report this easily holds my Platypus 3L LP hydration bladder. I sweat a lot so keeping hydrated while I'm out on the trail is an essential to me, especially in the summer where a 2L bladder might not be enough. While it's not enough to take a star away, there's only one opening for the hydration hose and it's on the left side of the pack. Being left handed, I usually hold other items (maps, compass, camera, etc.) in my left hand and drink from the tube using my right. It would be nice if the hole for the tube were in the middle of the pack or there were holes provided on both sides to give you a choice where you want the hose placed. The bag itself has a good amount of room for your belongings and I was able to put a change of clothes and my rain gear in the bag with plenty more room to spare. It could likely be used for a 1-2 night adventure without much trouble. Having the small side pockets on the waist belt is useful for placing quick access items (snacks, sunscreen, first aid kit, insect repellent, etc.) without having to take the backpack off. A few reviewers mentioned the top opening not being big enough but I didn't have an issue with this. I also like the side zipper that gives you access to the main part of the bag so you can pull something out from the bottom without much digging around or having to remove everything from the top. There's another pocket in the middle of the back that runs pretty much the length of the bag where I placed my odds and ends and I used the two "oversized" elastic side pockets for my sandals. The chest strap is adjustable so it can be lowered and raised accordingly depending on your height and there are two compression straps on either side of the bag to lock everything down once you're loaded up.Now for the ugly and the reason I took a star away (I rarely give 5 star reviews). I went on a 10 mile hike yesterday and I don't know if it's because the pack wasn't loaded enough or what the issue was but the shoulder straps kept coming loose which in turn would make the bag bounce as I was walking and put pressure on my lower back. Luckily, I wasn't carrying a lot of weight but having to continually re-tighten the straps every 5-10 minutes became quite a nuisance. I tried to adjust the compression straps above the shoulders but to no avail, it didn't stop the lower straps from constantly coming loose.Despite the issue with the shoulder straps, it's a nice bag that serves its purpose and it fit comfortably on my back. For my next day trip, I'll likely tie the excess straps in a knot once I have them adjusted to see if this corrects the issue. If it doesn't, I might end up returning this bag. I'll update this review accordingly if I do.

Great buy for price
I bought this not with the intent to head off into the bush, but as a backpack that I can take with me on flights as well as on vacations to carry essential items when I'm out and about. I'll be leaving on a cruise soon and because of the excursions we're doing, I figured a backpack would be more practical than a beach bag. So with that focus, that's how I'm going to review this bag.Pros-I like the pouches on the waist straps, they're big and roomy. If you won't be using them, the waist straps will get in the way though-Aluminum frame is very nice, helps keep the pack straight-Lots of places to hang things from (chain of webbing down the front, two loops on the bottom, a loop on either side of the waist buckle)-Color is nice, shouldn't see too much dirt-Price was great-Plastic zippers instead of metal. For me this is a plus because I won't have to worry about rust or salt from ocean waterNeutrals-The attachment/stitching of the compression straps to the side of the bag look slightly flimsy (see picture), don't know how well they will hold up after usage and being tightened down for long periods of time-Side pockets are difficult to fit anything big when the pack is full. A regular vending machine water bottle fits on either side, 2 on either side probably wouldn't fit securely.-Some of the straps are very long (compression straps, waist straps), some are just right, none are too short. (I'm 6', average build)Cons-The hole to the main compartment is not as wide as the actual compartment. So that means you are limited as to what you can place in the bag not by the compartment size, but by the opening of the bag.-Water bladder compartment is the length/width of a laptop compartment in a regular bag and only separated from the main compartment by a thin fabric. All in all I'm pretty happy with it. If I'm gentle with the compression straps, I see no reason why this won't last me a long time. I'll update if anything else comes up

I don't take this one hiking.
I got this as a starter bag but replaced it really quickly as it didn't have enough pockets (big fan) and it was a little too big for me to use as a daypack. The elastic on top also pulled its own loops out of the bag after the first use, then it kind of broke in various areas on its own.It is really good for an airplane backpack though. It can always fit in the overhead and it's smaller than the backpacks people typically take abroad.

Awesome backpack!
this backpack was a great purchase, it shipped and arrived in a very timely manner. It's super durable and roomy. The durability is a wonderful thing for me, because I live a pretty chaotic life, am not the most graceful of people, and run a fairly rough and tumble life. Backpacks don't usually last very long for me, so I'm pleased to say this one is still with me, with no damage(I've had this backpack for about a year and a half now). There are only a couple of items that I've had a bit of difficulty being able to put inside due to the slightly awkward and smallish zipper open at the top. The bar that is in the spine of the backpack is a lifesaver for me, I have to haul around a lot of heavy stuff during my day to day, and it has absolutely saved my back from so much pain. The bar in the spine helps hold so much weight, rather than having it pull against you, making hauling around a heaving pack so much easier. Be warned though, this backpack is far from waterproof. So if you plan on going anywhere where it's constant rainfall, this would not be a good idea to use.

Se rompe el tirante con poco peso
La mochila, no aguanto su primer viaje, se rompió de la parte de los tirantes y solo llevábamos 6 kilogramos entre ropa y botella de agua. Por lo cual no recomiendo el producto
