Extremely well executed knock off
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I would like to start by saying that this review pertains only to the build quality of the Knife itself. After seeing a review of these knives on YouTube from Skallagrim I admittedly was intrigued as to the current build quality of overseas made counterfeit knives and while I in no way endorse counterfeiting my curiosity got the better of me Especially since I already own the American made benchmaid knife that this knife is based off of so I bought this knife And as much as it saddens me to say this the build quality is excellent and absolutely on par with knives costing three times as much .•Came razor-sharp from the factory•Handle scales are solid feel good and look expensive• Locking mechanism is smooth and locks up tight no wiggle or play• action is smooth and opens easily One handed using the Thumb stud or just with the flick of the wrist• liners are solid steel Non-skeletonized and at least a16th of an inch thick and extremely robust looking•Pocket clip and all hardware seems to be made of highly polished stainless steel and seem to be of a very good quality And closing all I can say is that the product itself is admittedly very well-made And does deserve a five star rating the business practices that brought this to market on the other hand I do not agree with

My Favorite Ganzo Folder - in fact my favorite folder period
My EDC. My goto knife. This knife has all the characteristics I love in my other knives combined, but in one unit.Blade - 440c. Good stuff! Takes a great edge. Keeps it reasonably well. Rope, cardboard, light to heavy plastic, rope, wire, thick rubber... thrown them all at this blade. Light sharpening brings her back to nicely sharp. And whatever this particular blade finish, really rocks! Not a scratch or wear mark on her anywhere and she is not babied..Lock - is it an Axis lock? Is it Axis-like? Have read much on this. Not concerned. It works and it works well! No, I don't hang barbells off the knife. I don't spine bash it against logs. I just use it and use the hell out of it. She's never slipped closed.Centering - out of box, down the middle. No rubbing on the liners.Pivot and bushings - after initial break in, flicks out looking like an assisted-open knife. Closes smooth with same authoritative snap.Ergonomics - I have a medium hand. This knife fits with no hotspots. I'm in the comfort zone. The size, shape, handle/blade...all perfect. This is my favorite knife!G10 Scales - nicely textured. Grippy without biting. A pleasure to hold! (almost completely identical to look and feel of scales in my Spyderco Tenacious)Belt Clip - almost deep carry. I like it that way. I can pinch the tiny part sticking out of pocket and draw the knife with ease. The space between the three screws that hold the belt clip and the first bend make a nice grip area and help with that draw. Awesome bend and shape. Refined edge, not start or left unfinished anywhere.Overall Finish - again, refined. Attention to details on par with much higher priced knives. For a $17 dollar folder, Ganzo has taken the bar and raised it past where others could reach! Scales lined up with liners precisely.Gimping - nicely done! Normal thumb gimping spot on blade that continues almost an inch down the handle. Medium aggressiveness. Same can be found on the other end of handle for reverse holding. My basis of comparison? Kershaw Leek, Spyder Tenacious, Sanrenmu 710, Ganzo G720.Have an Ontario Rat 1 on the way. Hope she's not a thinking of taking the crown in my arsenal. If she is, she's in for a helluva fight! Hahaha. It's going to take one heck of a knife to take down this King of the Hill!

Wish this came in a mini size!
This is a very good alternative to the Benchmade. If you are like me, a folding pocket knife is not an investment. Its a tool you will carry to do work. If you are like me and absent minded, you will eventually lose it somewhere. Its also inexpensive enough that if you do have a brush with an over-ambitious LEO, and they decide to confiscate your tool under overly vague and pointless weapons laws, you won't be steaming mad seeing something like two hundred dollars down the drain. The axis lock action is a bit stiff to close the knife, but the thumb post makes one handed opening very easy. The scales are nice and grippy yet feels good in the hand. Everything is tight and the knife came sharp out of the box, which I then sharpened further for shave-capable edge.My only bummer is that this doesn't come in a 2.5 inch size. Despite being legal in most places, 3.5 inches is still a lot of knife to slip into your pocket. It makes me want a scaled-down version.I haven't used it enough to comment about the steel quality but claims to be a Chinese type that is directly comparable to 440c, which is a very respectable knife steel. Its held its edge so far at least.

One of the best knives I've ever purchased
One of the best knives I've ever purchased! I can't say enough about this knife! I use it daily and I'm very surprised at how well it holds up to the hardest use. Honestly, I've tried to break this with hard use but it takes all of the abuse with no trouble. No blade play, solid lockup, smooth operation... no complaints whatsoever. I did add talon grip material to the handle scale (not that it needed it). Even without the talon grip material added it's very secure in hand. This is a great work knife that can't be beat for the price! I highly recommend buying one, or two, three, ten... buy as many as you want with confidence, because you won't be disappointed.
