I have floorboards that are coming apart, and needed something to cover the damaged areas. This covered all the holes and gaps perfectly. The rubberized material is thin but heavy enough to lay perfectly flat. Can’t even feel the uneven floorboards through it. Super easy to wipe clean. Getting more for other areas of the house. Review: Just the size/quality I was looking for...Outstanding mat!! - This mat is perfect for my needs. So what do I like about it you may ask ? I’m glad you asked...! First is the size. The size may seem overkill at first. I wanted a mat however to not only cover the cooking chamber but also to cover the side tables in case there were accidental spills or grease drippings from the bbq utensils. Secondly, I wanted a mat that laid flat, was heat resistant and easy to clean. This mat (as you can see from the photo) came rolled up but laid flat right out of the box. The manufacturer claims that it is heat resistant up to 500 degrees. I wiped up some grease drippings effortlessly. The textured top surface acts as a non-slip surface but it’s still easy to clean. Thirdly, it looks nice ! Ok, it’s an ego trip but still I like to be proud of what I own...LOL! To sum things up, I’m so glad I choose this mat for my grill 😁 P.S. Do you enjoy charcoal grilling? Then you will LOVE the PK 360 grill (shown in my picture). Yeah it’s a bit pricey, but it is unsurpassed in build quality. It is all cast aluminum so there’s nothing to rust. It will last your lifetime and probably your heirs as well (some owners of the original PK grill have had theirs for 40+ years and their grill is still going strong). The heat retention is outstanding and can be regulated by the air intake valves in the front (the two black handles on the front bottom of the oven- pictured). Better still are the results you get when barbecuing on this grill. Picture perfect steaks, hamburgers, chicken...you name it. It take all the work out of getting excellent results. Interested ? Every so often they go on sale. I got mine after Christmas in January ($100 off). It was money well spent !! ## Features - EASY TO CLEAN: wipe the mat with a paper towel and household cleaner, or spray with a garden hose to clean spills and splatters - SURFACE PROTECTION: protect decks, patios, or garage floors from sauce, grease, and oil; won't stain wood or paver stones - DRIP ZONE FRONT EXTENSION: the original protective deck mat designed with the drip zone for extra coverage at the front of the grill, where it's needed it most ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #14,029 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #43 in Grill Pads & Floor Mats | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 5,753 Reviews | ## Images ![GRILLTEX Under the Grill Protective Deck and Patio Mat, 39 x 72 inches, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81jPKurTNvL.jpg) ![GRILLTEX Under the Grill Protective Deck and Patio Mat, 39 x 72 inches, Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71nLXl5CWDL.jpg) ![GRILLTEX Under the Grill Protective Deck and Patio Mat, 39 x 72 inches, Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Eor-GzL0L.jpg) ![GRILLTEX Under the Grill Protective Deck and Patio Mat, 39 x 72 inches, Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/8165COMEJiL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heavy duty and tough *by M***A on September 13, 2026* Excellent product, exactly what I was looking for. Feels heavy! Definitely not thin and flimsy. It’s made of what feels like it will be durable for years to come. Hoping this will protect my concrete from any future oil spills from my Traeger 34 grill. I’m excited to see how it holds up --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nl/products/71460741-grilltex-under-the-grill-protective-deck-and-patio-mat-39](https://www.desertcart.nl/products/71460741-grilltex-under-the-grill-protective-deck-and-patio-mat-39) --- *Product available on Desertcart Netherlands* *Store origin: NL* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
