3.5mm to 2.5mm Male Audio Replacement Cable Compatible with Bose oe2, oe2i, AE2, QC35 Headphones, Remote Volume Control & in-Line Mic Cord Compatible with Samsung Galaxy Huawei Android

This is an initial impression of the cable, which appears to be of good quality construction. It isn’t as flexible as the original, but that was known prior to ordering since the jacket material is woven fabric instead of vinyl. Time will tell if it holds up. I use this my Bose AE2 headphones along with a lightning adapter for iPhone XS to conduct teleconferences for work. The audio sound quality is excellent. The microphone works and sound is also very good. The in-line controls work the same as the original Bose cable did (play/pause, volume up/down).

I bought two of these (Android version). One was used with Bose NC700 headphones, plugged into an XBox Series controller, and used with an XBox Series S. The other was used with Bose AE2 headphones, plugged into an XBox One controller, and used with an XBox Series X. We wanted to be able to chat between rooms in an XBox Live party. We found out that we couldn't use our bluetooth connections, and the other headphone cables wouldn't function with the built in microphones that the headphones have. These cables fixed the problem perfectly. The in game sound/music came through great, as well as each of our voices. Again, these were with the Android version of the cable. I didn't try the inline controls, (I used the volume on my headphones), so I can't speak on those. The braided cable seems to be of good quality. The cable ends plugged into the controllers and headphones securely, and seemed to make good connections. This is the first day I'm trying these. If I ever have any trouble, I'll give an update.

As good as original

The braiding on the cable has worn out over the two years I’ve had this product. The cable still works perfectly, but I wonder for how much longer. Still, it is a great solution for an older Bose headphones that is no longer in production.
