One of those small DMX accessories that is good to have
am still new to DMX, so I am learning the ins and outs of what is actually needed and what is just nice to have. These Cable Matters 120 Ohm DMX terminators were one of those accessories I bought because most DMX setup advice says you should use them at the end of a daisy chain.They feel heavier and better made than I expected, and they plug in nice and solid. There is not much to set up or figure out — you just plug one into the final fixture in the DMX run and move on.Can I 100% see what they are doing? Not really. But for finishing off the end of a DMX daisy chain and helping prevent signal issues, they seem to do exactly what they are supposed to do.Things to know: this is not an exciting accessory, and depending on your setup, you may or may not notice an obvious difference.Final verdict: Simple, well made, and good to have in the DMX box. For the price, I am glad I bought them while building out my lighting system.
