They def rust and you have to keep an eye on them , my last pair rusted out and while I was tying my rig down it broke. I only run in saltwater, and they're never submerged , it's just being around the environment, or maybe from water draining off boat while towing IDK , but they are not saltwater friendly whatsoever , and you'll get around 5-6 months as long as you don't attach them while underwater lol **Q: I have 3 ft. From boat to trailer. Are these adjustable to fit?** A: I'm not exactly sure (I'd check if my boat were kept here) but I believe they would work. I've got a shorter length but also ha e plenty of "slack" in the adjustable straps. The company has a good reputation and if you're buying through Amazon you could feel confident that an exchange could bw made. **Q: Are these made in china?** A: Honestly, I do not know. I did not check that when I first bought. Wished I had BUT these are easily, the best straps I have bought in the 4 years of ownership for my Sea Doo. **Q: Will this strap reach a four feet separation between boat and trailer tie down loop with enough length to place both ends of the strap hook into?** A: Yes it will, I'm very happy whit this straps ## Frequently Bought Together - Seamander [Boat] Tie Down Transom [Strap] s - Marine Grade Heavy Duty 2" x 4ft Adjustable for Trailing - [Boat] [Trailer] Accessories for [Boat] ing Safety - KONON Trailer Winch Strap 2" x 20' with Safety Snap Hook 10000 lbs for Towing Vehicles, Boats and Jet Ski | Polyester | Longer Warranty - Attwood 7524A7 Snap-Handle Drain Plug, For 1-Inch-Diameter Drains, Locks in Place, Brass Handle, Rubber Plug --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nl/products/71248011-seamander-boat-trailer-tie-down-straps-2pk-durable-trailer-transom](https://www.desertcart.nl/products/71248011-seamander-boat-trailer-tie-down-straps-2pk-durable-trailer-transom) --- *Product available on Desertcart Netherlands* *Store origin: NL* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
