Bonanno-a Godfather's Story

I had been looking for Bonanno - Godfather's Story, which had the full 5 hours. I could find part One which was just under 3 hours. Great to now have the full story/show.

I ordered the movie in DVD Format, but I received the VHS by mistake. So I returned it. Now I reordered the DVD. I've seen the movie before and I enjoyed it.

I watched this movie years ago and truly enjoyed it since it was a true story. I am very interested in Mafia stories and found this one to be so true to home. Thank you for the fast shipment. I haven't watched it yet, but am so looking forward to it. Thank you

Video is unbelievable interesting because the video shows Kennedy was shot by the Mafia from the storm drain not the grassy noel.

I saw the movie when it originally aired on showtime. I recorded the movie then and was excited when it was released for sale. When I watched the store released movie I noticed that the running minutes is two hours and twenty minutes. THATS WRONG! The originally aired "Bonanno: A Godfather's Story" was almost or exactly five hours long. They cut out two and a half hours of important moments of Joseph Bononno's life. I feel cheated and disappointed that someone allowed this to happen to someones biography. I like mafia movies and I thought this was a good one.

A shorter version of the movie I wanted. Service was good. I would use them again.

Utter rubbish, I wanted the whole film not half of it. What happened to the whole film?????

Though I enjoyed this film, there was a massive chunk missing. It was confusing. People being mentioned who were never shown in the entire film.I bought this film for a building collection. Edward James Olmos. He is on the front cover. He's on the back. His character is mentioned in the summary on several online stores. But he isn't shown once in the film I received. I know this, because I've watched it eight times already, searching for EJO.On the cover there is, Robert Loggia who plays Don Ciccio. Edward James Olmos who plays Salvatore Maranzano. The other two actors are in the film, Martin Landau as Joseph Bonanno at age 94 and Bruce Ramsay as Joseph Bonanno at ages 17 to 27.Where are the other two? I would have loved to have seen Robert Loggia just as much at Edward James Olmos. I'm disappointed big time.I have been researching this film for the last few days and have discovered that when this was shown on TV, it was shown in something like four parts and was around five hours long.From what I can make out, they cut parts two and three from the DVD. I'm guessing for room or money, because I've seen TV films, in full, on one or two DVD's. Why not this one?To those of you who want to see EJO, don't buy this because he's not in it. I swear it's false advertisement to show such prestige’s actors on the front and back covers, menus included, and not have them in the film AT ALL.It is a great film with history and drama. The life of the characters were superbly played. I'd be scared to have actually lived in that time, but I'd watch this again, just to relearn the history of family ties, mob business and connections to all things.
