After receiving burns again to my feet from sparks or slag, I bought these. They work great, and I wish I had bought these years ago. It takes a month to recover from the burns, where as, it only takes a minute to attach these. It just makes sense.

They fit very well and stop hot weld Slag from melting through my boots.

They do not fit over my boots. I wear slip on work boots. The top are not tight enough to fit around my leg. The velcro need some help to stick together. Might will help if there were straps on them. I wrap and tie leather shoe strings for them to hold. They still help after making them work some. I will not buy another. I'm just being honest!

For the purpose I got them for, they're great. I'm not a welder but I bought these for use while cutting my property to keep foxtails out of my boots/laces. They work great for that. However, they are a little small and don't wrap all the way around my legs. They could also use a foot strap underneath but a little 550 cord fixed that easy enough. Overall very impressed with these.

I bought these for those hot Texas summer days where I only need to do a quick spot weld or two and do not want to change into full jeans and leather shoes. These cover my tennis shoes and help to keep little holes from forming in them. I would definitely buy these again.

My grandson is getting into welding but is still growing so I felt these "spats" would best suit him. They are for Christmas.

Easy to put over shoe. The Velcro is strong and works well. The thing that made me not give it 5 stars was the smell. It smelled instantly as soon as I opened the package, I figured it air out but it hasn’t. I even dyed it darker and thought that would somehow help with the smell. It hasn’t. Nothing has. It’s stinks badly,
