Yes, this is a brilliant bow! What you are paying for is a bow, and for the price this is definitely worth five stars.What you are not paying for is good quality arrows, they are terrible and dangerous and should not be fired! Don't let this throw you off though as arrows are fairly cheap, on Amazon certainly just look at the reviews of various multipacks and it's easy to see what you should buy.The bow draws nicely, as a compound should, initially it's tough because the full draw weight is in play but after the tug the cams kick in and make drawing it easier than spreading butter.I'm around 6' and I've gotta say the draw length is a little too short for me, it could do with an extra couple of inches to reach the corner of my mouth, but I still have no problem firing arrows and hitting targets.The extra gubbins you get such as the arm guard and sight are fairly useless, although the atm guard is of course better than nothing, the sight is really only there for aesthetic purposes. The quiver, however, is pretty useful; I've managed to bung 10 32" arrows in it just about, and the belt loop is a nice add on.Just remember to BUY BETTER ARROWS!

I have to confess, I've never fired it. I bought it for a Comicon event (going as the Green Arrow), and the price, and the plastic case with cheap wooden arrows made me think it was a kids toy. I was not allowed pass the security at Comicon though, because it is a real, fully-functioning, and apparently sought after model. The security officer who had to de-string it for me (not easily done either, the string, being metal fibre could not be cut, and had to be painstakingly dismantled - a good sign though?). One of the security guards thought I must have paid £150 for it, as he'd seen similar models for that price. All in all, great value for money I'd say.

First timer here, very easy to pick up and use. Great to learn with and I couldn't recommend more

Good bow nice and powerful only downside is the arrows buy new and better ones,a good starter bow.

Item is really good, I have been shooting for few hours now, and only problem are arrows. Arrows suck. I broke one arrow in the first hour of shooting. At least bow is great.

Bow is gd could do with knocking points only down side are the arrows very flimsy and break easily so recommend purchasing more with bow all round good bow

Great bow - really pleased with the package ....however - arrows shattered on first use - shame
