Dune 2000 Paperback – September 23, 1998

The mission maps alone are good enough reason to get this book, although the author overlooked some viable strategies (sneaking Fremen into the Ordos base through the ramp in the back of their base in the Penultimate Atreides Mission as an example). It also offers tips on base construction and how to maximize spice harvesting. I deducted a point due to some inaccuracies (the "more" Ornithopters you build the better, when there are always only three available for Airstrikes at any time, and saying that the Death Hand Missile is "fairly accurate" which is rubbish for anyone who has played the game) although most of the unit attributes listed are correct.

Excellent strategy guide. Sold as promised, just like new.

I used to play Dune 2 for hours (maybe not hours but, a long time) So I wanted to play this.... yea I'm back at gaming in a way (wife hates it) Now I'm waiting for the newer one "battle for dune"... word

It's a great book overall, and really helps the player get started and to finish the game successfully. Note however that sometimes it takes practice before the strategy can work for you. Nice book. I recommend it.
