This is amazing . I agree with all other comments that this is perfect for mashing pet food . It works surprisingly well with such a simple design . I add a tbsp water so it won’t be so thick and sticky. As long as I wash it immediately, everything rinse off easily My senior cat also prefer pate texture, I was previously using a cocktail muddler which does the job but I would prefer baby grade products.

This product has truly been a life saver for us. Makes it so easy to puree just about anything on the go. And the fact that it’s compact makes it so easy to throw in the diaper bag and go! I have washed it in the dishwasher many of times with no problems! We love it such an essential for the early eating stages!

I know this is marketed to be for baby food, but I use it to mash up my cats’ wet food. Many cat owners know that if you feed a can of wet food that is chunks and sauce or Chunky in anyway that cats will most often lick the sauce and leave the chunks. This little food masher works incredibly well, even just the little masher on its own without the bowl. To me, it’s actually surprising how well it works because the grooves are pretty flat. It definitely does not take much effort or a long time to get any style of chunky cat food into a mash. It’s easy to clean, does not take up much space and it works unbelievably well. I had been looking for something to mash up my cats food because I have arthritis in my thumb and using a fork, always added to my pain, my hand. This is much easier to use and smashes the food much better than a fork. Highly recommend for probably anything that needs to be mashed up

I had an older version of this from 10 years ago. This upgrade with lid is so helpful. This saves me from using more dishes. I love that the masher dissembles for easy covered transport inside with lid on.
