Worth the money
Worked perfectly. Was even able to use my factory back with the Cadillac emblem on it. Highly recommend this product.

Great replacement for OEM fob case for my 2017 CTS
My OEM fob was pretty trashed by the abuse of rubbing against the other keys on my keychain in my pocket. This new FOB doesn't include the Cadillac Crest emblem that the back of my OEM fob has. I kept my OEM fob back and attached this new front so I can keep the emblem which wasn't work out. Everything fits together and looks like new. Great find at good price. I also was able to insert my original cut key into new fob.

Almost perfect replacement for factory Key FOB case. Missing Cadillac Emblem on backside.
This is a case only, not a full FOB. Some confusion out there could be to the fact that it comes with an instruction card directing you to a website to program a remote. It does not apply to the case, you re-use the guts or brains of the key. This does appear to come with a replacement blank key but not sure if that is the same metal that the original key uses and can be cut. Either way, its there. You wont use it since you should have a key already as part of the remote. Some notes: The original has a nice caddy emblem that the replacement does not come with. See pic of old remote and this one. The old remote has key data for it on the back part of the case, either save it or take a picture of it, write it down, whatever is easier as it allows you to purchase a replacement Key FOB from the factory. And the last note is there is a small protector film that is not included with this case but is part of the original. It goes between the silicone button cover and the button board. Not sure its needed but I re-used my original. Other than that, its a perfect replacement and great value for the price. Time will tell how well the rubber holds up but mine was so bad, I would rather have this one that use the original.
