Outstanding product
TotalBoat artist epoxy resin is outstanding epoxy resin ! Mixing is simple 1:1 ratio and mix’s really nice with mica power colors One very important part of this epoxy resin is that it is almost odor free !! Drys to an amazing shine, I love it !

Extremely disappointing results.
This epoxy , from a very reputable brand, was a big disappointment. I used this for a thin coating for a few paintings and pieces of jewelry I made and the outcome was a very blotchy and unprofessional finish. I will attach photos showing this. It’s a 1:1 mix ratio and I mixed roughly 2oz batches at a time. First coat just to essentially prime the surface as my paintings have variable porosity throughout them. The results were pretty bad. Instead of one smooth coat (after the second coat) the epoxy seemed to puddle together in small bumps or groupings despite the layer being extremely thin. It had the same effect of water on a windshield, not an even coating over the whole piece. I even tested a solid wood jewelry pendant I made, brushing on a VERY thin layer and smoothing it all out only to come back after cure to find that it too, had blotches. This stuff may work better for a thicker pour in a mold where it can’t blotch together but for a thin coating this stuff is a huge disappointment. I wanted it to essentially seal my paintings while adding a gloss and giving some depth to the texture and I wish I would have used something else because the finished product is NOT satisfactory especially for something made for selling. I’m not sure why this happened but it’s certainly not the outcome I was looking for.
