Bought this, eventually returned it, here is why:Installation, a bit tricky due to the instructions, make sure the vertical shaft between 'base' and fan unit is as sunk in the collar as low as it goes, it must not protrude, the earthing strap has to go in one particular location to allow the 'transformer block' to slide in the middle of the hanging bracket, otherwise not a hope of getting the cover on.Fan, great unit, silent, air flow is all you hear and when you turn it off you can still hear nothing as the fans take a while to wind down to a standstill due to the great bearings.Lighting: Halogen lights worked a treat, unfortunately they are going to be hard to get in the UK. LED lights, 4 different brands did not dim. Contacted Pepeo from company website, they advised one type of bulb only, Philips E27 A60 60W as the one known to dim. Vague, so got them to confirm: Philips Classic LED 7.5 W (60 W) A60, E27 Edison Screw, Vintage Filament Bulb, Warm White, Dimmable, Clear [Energy Class A+] was the bulb they meant. Bought from Amazon and yes dimmed but also buzzed loudly, a compatibility issue between dimmer unit and bulb due to differing technologies internetting revealed, unable to resolve that I returned the unit as was after a silent unit in my lounge, not a buzz.Great looking unit overall, just was a bit bigger than expected, ie bigger than my head was the thought i would think walking in the room.
