Magic 3052 30 Oz Grout Cleaner with Stay Clean Technology

I moved into a rental property about 8 months ago. The place was clean, or so I thought. Then a few weeks ago I was in the bathroom, sat on the throne surveying the area around me, as one does at such times and it occurred to me that the brown grout between the floor tiles isn’t actually brown grout; it’s dirt, probably ten years worth. Clean dirt though, because I scrub my bathroom floor at least once a week with a regular tile cleaner/disinfectant. So whilst still sat upon said throne I began the Amazon trawl for a grout cleaner that would be up to the task remedying this ghastly situation and this is what I chose, and a very wise choice it was. This stuff is brilliant. Sprayed it on, left it for 5 minutes, scrubbed it with a tough nylon bristle brush and warm water, then mopped up the mess with paper towels, and wow, night and day difference. I was originally put off by the price - twice as much as some of the others available but would it be worth it? I haven’t tried the others but this definitely got the job done with ease and I’d absolutely buy it again. I think I could do the bathroom two more times on the same bottle but when I’m out I’ll for sure get some more.

This product does what it claims to do, clean tile grout lines. It's a little pricy, but I feel it's worth it. Yes you will have to "scrub" and more than once according to the directions. A container will do a large kitchen with enough leftover to do a bathroom or laundry room, so it does go a long way. It cleans well, wear gloves as it is harsh but it does not have a strong or unpleasant odor. Spray bottle works well. Yes I would buy again because it does clean very well, no miracle easy spray and your done because you will still have work line by endless grout line on your "hands and knees" scrubbing and wiping which is no fun. Follow directions and clean you will get along with sore and tired.

I bought this to keep up with the off-white grout we have in a certain room. You waste a lot by spraying because it obviously sprays all over the floor tile and not necessarily only on the grout. The product will give you severe sore throat and sinus issues, if you don't wear a mask. It works when I scrubbed with a wire brush (that has a long handle like a broom handle). I suggest you do small areas and keep ventilation high. I got through 90% of my floor (room is approximately 13' x 19') and I had to stop because the air was filled with the caustic fumes. This is very much like the bathroom tile cleaner I used long ago and had a bad experience. There should be warnings on the front of the bottle. Do not breathe in these fumes.

I tried three different grout cleaners. The other two were very well known and recommended. They did not do great ; however, Magic did a great job! I ordered a secret md bottle and trashed the other two brands!

I have a light beige/salmon grout and it has been disgusting for at least 2.5 years now. Now, I didn't try anything else but finally got sick of it looking so gross so found this stuff and ordered it based on reviews. WOW. That's all I can say. What an amazing product. My grout looks new again. I won't be trying anything else because it can't get any better! The pictures don't do the vast difference justice.

First and foremost, I want to say my grout before picture is repulsive. I bought a Rubbermaid spin scrubber that looks like an oversized toothbrush & took a chance on this product based on reviews. I followed the instructions on the back of the bottle and let the spray sit for 5 mins. Then went to work with my little scrubber. At first I was a bit disappointed by the results, thinking the grout wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it to be. Then when I saw the before picture again, I gasped. Couldn’t believe how well this worked with very minimal effort. The worst part of the job was trying to get the excess off the floor. I used a sponge which probably wasn’t the best idea. In any event, I would definitely recommend this product. The grout isn’t “brand new” again, but it’s so much cleaner.
