Good through headphone player
Originally bought a Walkmaner player, sent it back as it did not play through headphones in stereo ( I bet a lot of players out there don't) This one does, no radio or speaker but does exactly what I want it to do. Only downside - when it finishes rewinding, no auto stop, take-up spool carries on turning, overtensioning the reel causing it to crease up.

Absolute redemption of the recent past
This is truly a fantastic recreation of a classic. Not only does it play at a constant speed and have a rechargeable battery, but it also has an incredible Digital to Analogue converter . For such a small and light unit, this is really what we needed in the 90's. The buttons are pleasant to use, the loading mechanism is well formed and the interfaces are incredibly functional. I've used old tapes and new tapes in this. You should too. Buy it.

You get what you pay for
Bought it for a DIY project, but gave it a spin before tearing it down. On one hand, the sound quality is absolutely abysmal - no highs whatsoever, noticeable wow & flutter, lots of background noise and popping sounds when changing/disengaging modes. In short, everything one would expect from a player of this caliber. On the other hand, the build quality is surprisingly nice for the money, my particular unit has a tiny metal flywheel and a TRW-branded motor inside. I needed it mostly for parts which would be too cumbersome to buy separately, so can't complain about any of its shortcomings. My takeaway from it: If you're serious about listening to your tapes, but do not want to take your chances with a vintage player, consider going for a Fiio CP-13 (on the pricey side) or a B-1000EW (less expensive option). If you don't mind the risk or are not too afraid of tinkering, think about getting an old walkman of your choice. Buy this one if you don't really care about the sound or if the poor sound quality is what you are looking for (be it the vibe, sound processing for music production, etc).

🎶 Retro Vibes Done Right!
This cassette player is such a blast from the past! 🎧 Compact, easy to use, and the sound quality is surprisingly clear for such a retro gadget. Perfect for reliving old memories or sharing the magic of tapes with a new generation. Totally love it!

Tape cassette player
It's ok, does what it's meant to, sound isn't amazing but maybe ttat's because of my old tape? (Probably not looking at the other reviews). It is very plastic and basic looking.

Blast from the past.
This is a real blast from the past. I wanted kids to understand how difficult it was to listen to the music in my days, when skipping to the next song was not as easy as with the music streaming platforms nowadays. Also, the fact that the cassettes were double sided and how to rewind them in the cassette player or using a pencil! The quality of the cassette player is decent, even the plastic is made to look like old, white one that got yellowish grey overtime. It is well done in this respect. The only thing is the headphones (earbuds included). They are as uncomfortable as those back in a day. Luckily we have plenty of spare headphones at home, so this was not a big deal.

Old school!
I still have some of my old cassettes from when I was a teenager. This little Walkman cassette player certainly brings back the memories! It is quite basic and the only concession that has two modern technology as the power connection which looks like a USB C port. Otherwise you would not know that this is a modern cassette player. It comes in fairly plain packaging. Inside there’s a decent instruction leaflet. You also get a pair of 3.5 mm earphones. In addition to the USB port there is also a 3.5 mm headphone port and microphone port. The buttons are simply stop, forward, rewind, play and to record. It has this not particularly attractive grey/beige colour to it. However in some respects I think this old school fuel and colour scheme adds to the appeal of it. For under £30 it’s a nice way for me to relive memories and listen to some of those old cassettes.
