Best paint ever. Smooth, shiny, and easy application. Great coverage. It is expensive, but worth the cost for serious artists.

As a serious artist for the last 20 years, good paint is a must. I have used all different kinds but I always go back to Golden. Wonderful for line work and it is not a cheap watery substance. A little goes a long way with this paint. It is pricey but if you are doing any kind of serious painting it is worth the money.

Golden acyrlics are the best.

It's Golden, what can I say? It's so awesome to work with. Don't have to use very much, highly pigmented.

I’m use this mainly for fluid acrylic paintings and mixing with mediums like Floetrol and GAC 800. Given that, I find it works well. And, while it costs more per oz (the 16 oz bottle, ~$1.74/fl oz) it’s just slightly more expensive per fl oz than the soft bodied acrylics which I try to purchase when on sale and with coupons. It has a very high viscosity and the pigment is much more concentrated so after several tries I’m using about 1/4 to 1/3 the amount that I’d use if I were mixing in soft bodied acrylic paints (like Liquitex BASICS or Artist’s Loft Level 1) I also don’t need to add water. Works great for what I do. Note, if you’re looking for a basic paint to use with a paint brush, this may not be for you unless you’re willing to get a medium to mix with it to give it more body. However, if you’re willing to go that route you’ll have a lot of freedom with the finish since you can buy mediums with different finishes like gloss or matte to get different results.
