Bought this as my winter set of car wheels got a puncture and this kit worked really well, was easy to use and good quality items. The first attempt I did still had a leak but that was MY fault as I pulled too hard on the mushroom after removing the gun, so I did it again and it sealed perfectly. Saved me going to a garage and now the kit just sits in my boot for any other needs and plenty of other uses left with the plugs. Does take a bit of muscle to get started but it’s a Money saving and convenient bit of kit.

Amazing product.... This has saved me so much money untill I need a new tyre or MOT for my motorcycle. Tyre now holds 42 psi easy and has not gone down...easy to use..watch the video from the QR code or follow instructions in box. Please note for UK customers this is classed as a temporary repair and will 50/50 pass MOT..but other reviews state people have gone entire life of tire including my college who recommended this.. I can say it works well and saves you needing to spend £30/40 getting temp repair at shops.. will buy one for the car also. HIGHLY RECOMENDED AND quality tool as well feels robust.. spare mushrooms also available but plenty various sized in box..

The booking times at my local tyre places were too long so I ordered this on next day from Amazon. Despite the word "permanent" appearing three times on the sales page one must note the legal disclaimer "This is considered as a temporary repair on all street vehicles", with 100 mile, 50 mph limits. Anyway I tried this today and it worked well as intended. The tools feel substantial and of good quality. The 15 plugs are three to a zip bag in another zip bag. The smaller zip bags have excess silicone in them to ensure each plug is coated to aid insertion. In fact I was able to repair the screw puncture in the central tread of the rear tyre of my Q2 without taking the wheel off the car. I did jack it up to just get the wheel off the ground and I'm glad I did. I attempted to fix the tyre without letting all the air out and I almost achieved this. I was able to remove the screw, ream the hole (using only the narrower end of the ream tool, as its main section is too big) and get the nozzle inserted into the tyre without too much air loss. However, when I was screwing the plugger in the handle touched the ground and unscrewed the auger causing sudden and total air loss (and sending the plug flying). Ah well, best laid plans and all. I recovered the plug, reassembled the plugger and inserted the plug per the instructions. Tyre re-inflated and soap tested with no leaks so all good. When I decide to get a 'proper' repair then I will need to choose the centre carefully as one of my local ones says on their website "Damages previously treated with a DIY repair kit are not considered safe for repairs". That is clearly nonsense to sell more tyres as the AA and others use these systems roadside to get you going. All in all it does what it says, easily and to a good standard, just a shame it is not a permanent fix.

I have a piaggio MP3 500cc trike and got a nail stuck in my brand new tyre. These are NOT the easiest wheels to remove for a tyre repair, which was why I was interest in this kit as it claimed you could repair the tyre without the need to remove the tyre. Skepticaly, I followed the (simple) instructions and it took just 10 MINUTES to repair the hole and re-inflate the tyre. It's now been almost a week and checking my tyre pressure, the rear tyre has not lost any air at all. This repair kit, is a bit more expensive than some kits, BUT it is so easy and quick to use and convenient that i think it was worth every penny. The kit comes with tyre plugs, a cutting knife, a small tool penknife and a tyre reamer, all in a leather pouch (oh and the plug gun of course). The overall quality of the items is quite high and seems durable for the mid to long term. The complete size of the kit is a little bulky than some other kits, but this iz forgivable as It is so EASY to use, so I really do recommend this item. I hope this small review helps you with any decisions on this item.

A great product. It has got me back up and running multiple times, good solid rubber bungs that fit well and as long as you follow the instructions, easy to use and good value for money, I have had no leaks from the repair, the must therefore have great adhesion inside the tyre. 10/10 every biker should carry the kit.

I recently picked up a screw in my tyre and after visiting several tyre shops none would attempt a repair as it was outside the approved repair zone. My tyres are all season and I needed to order a tyre which left me with a slowly deflating tyre that needed a temporary repair so I ordered this grand pit stop kit. I removed the tyre from my Suzuki to gain better access to the puncture, removed the offending screw and deflated fully my tyre. Followed the instructions to ream out the puncture to the first step on the reamer. Not sure if I should have used the full width of the reamer or not ? Pushed the pointed end and nozzle fully into the tyre, primed the gun with a mushroom plugs screwed it onto the nozzle and pushed the plunger into the tyre with the plug. Pulled back on the gun and the mushroom plugs was in, got some pliers and pulled the plug to fully seat the mushroom against the inner wall of the trye. Then pumped up my tyre to 35psi before cutting the plug stem off level with the tyre tread. I drove on this repaired tyre for 4 days until my new tyre was ready for fitting and it lost no pressure at all. I've since read online that to make the repair more permanent you can use some vulcanising fluid on the plug and reamer but I'm not sure on that.

Excellent product worked first time brilliant. If you YouTube it or google it in how it’s done. it is so easy and I have confidence in the tire now. it’s virtually the same as they will do if you take it to a garage to be done. but less than half the cost.

Very unique product

When I purchased this one, I was dealing with a flat tire due to a HUGE screw getting in the tire from a drive in a construction area for work. I have to admit: I was skeptical. However, these saved me until I was able to get a new tire. They are easy to install if you follow the procedure to the letter. And after installation, air was not escaping. Sure, it escaped bit by bit as days passed due to the driving, but it held the fort until I could get a new tire. So in terms of quality and durability, it is perfect for these emergency situations. The product is easy to use and is small enough to put in the storage compartment of the spare tire. Well worth the money, I would say. Also, not heavy at all but not light enough to say it's made with bad materials. Would recommend.
